FE UNNES Selenggarakan International Conference on Economics, Business, and Economic Education Science

Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Semarang (FE UNNES) menyelenggarakan International Conference on Economics, Business, and Economic Education Science (ICE-BEES) 2018, selama dua hari Selasa dan Rabu (17-18/7/2018) di Hotel Grasia Semarang.

Ketua Panitia Andryan Setyadharma PhD melaporkan, peserta International Conference ini tercatat ada sekitar 130 peserta dengan 112 pemakalah, yang berasal dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Termasuk diantaranya tujuh pemakalah dari Malaysia.

Kegiatan ini hasil kerjasama dengan Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia mengangkat tema tentang “Deliberations on Business and Education Practices toward Internationalisation” dengan 4 subtema di bidang Akuntansi, Manajemen, Ilmu Ekonomi, dan Pendidikan Ekonomi.

Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi wadah bagi para peneliti baru atau muda untuk membangun hubungan yang kuat dengan para peneliti yang berpengalaman sehingga artikelnya dapat dimuat di jurnal nasional maupun internasional.

Saat ini FE UNNES sudah memiliki  8 jurnal ilmiah (Jurnal Dinamika Manajemen, Management Analysis, Journal, Jurnal Ekonomi dan Kebijakan, Economics Development Analysis Journal, Jurnal Dinamika Akuntansi, Accounting Analysis Journal, Dinamika Pendidikan, dan Economic Education Analysis Journal). Dari 8 jurnal itu, 5 diantaranya sudah terakreditiasi nasional.

Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, saat ini animo dosen di Indonesia untuk melakukan publikasi ilmiah mengalami peningkatan. Sebab publikasi ilmiah sudah menjadi keharusan bagi dosen untuk bisa naik ke jenjang karir yang lebih tinggi. Untuk mencapai jenjang Guru Besar misalnya, disyaratkan seorang dosen selain memiliki pendidikan S3, juga memiliki publikasi ilmiah di jurnal internasional bereputasi.

Alhamdulillah, dari tahun ke tahun jumlah jurnal internasional bereputasi yang terpublikasikan mengalami peningkatan cukup signifikan. 2016 silam hanya ada sekitar 260 jurnal, meningkat menjadi 380 jurnal di 2017, dan tahun ini setidaknya bisa tercapai sekitar 450 jurnal.

Pada 2019 mendatang, kami targetkan sudah ada 500 jurnal internasional bereputasi yang terpublikasikan. Kami optimis bisa mencapainya dan memang telah menjadi komitmen bersama di civitas akademika UNNES.

Hadir sejumlah pembicara diantaranya Associate Prof Dr Shafinar Ismail dari Universiti Teknologi MARA Melaka Malaysia, Nadine Sulkowski (University of Gloucestershire Inggris), Prof Neil Towers (University of Gloucestershire Inggris), Prof Tai Wan-Ping (Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan), dan Indah Fajarini SW PhD (UNNES). Turut hadir pula Dekan FE Drs Heri Yanto MBA PhD, Wakil Dekan, Dosen, beserta jajaran di lingkungan UNNES.
