Diskusi Terfokus, Tim Pusat Bimbingan dan Konseling Unimal Aceh Kunjungi  UNNES

Tim Pengelola Pusat   Bimbingan dan Konseling  Universitas Malikussaleh Aceh (Unimal),  mengadakan kunjungan ke Pusat Pengembangan Karir dan BK, MKU/MKDK LP3 UNNES, Senin (17/9/2018) di kampus UNNES Sekaran Gunungpati.

Mereka terdiri atas 3 orang dipimpin Dr Ir Jamidi diterima oleh  Sekertaris LP3 UNNES Dr Sugiyanto MSi.  Dalam sambutan penerimaan, disampaikan ucapan selamat datang dan  penghargaan serta mendukung  keinginan dan harapan tim  yang berniat saling bertukar pengalaman mengelola pusat layanan konseling. Sugiyanto juga mendukung rencana mereka  mengadakan workshop dengan mengundang fasilitator dari UNNES.

Rangkaian acara  kunjungan itu, selanjutnya saling tukar pengalaman berkenaan dengan pengelolaan Program Bimbingan Konseling. Dalam kesempatan itu,

Kepala Pusbang Karir dan BK, MKU/MKDK,  Eko Supraptono  didampingi oleh Staf Akademik dan para Tutor Sebaya menjelaskan bahwa pengelolaan program unggulannya diarahkan  pada pelayanan untuk pencapaian  Catur Sukses Mahasiswa, dan layanan pengentasan masalah non akademik mahasiswa.

Ia juga menambahkan, bahwa pusat layanan konseling memiliki  posisi yang strategis  dalam mendukung kebijakan lembaga dalam meningkatkan reputasi dan kepercayaan publik.

Anggauta tim, Nursan Junita, MA dan Nasruddin, SP lebih jauh meminta penjelasan strategi membangun komitmen seluruh elemen kampus, terutama para Dosen Wali sebagai garda terdepan dalam memberikan konseling awal terhadap klien mahasiswanya.

Diskusipun mengerucut pada upaya mendasar untuk mengeliminasi kendala dan kelemahan dalam membangun jaringan yang kokoh antara para pengelola ditingkat dosen wali, pengelola prodi dengan layanan program yang digelar oleh pusat konseling.

Ia berkeinginan belajar lebih jauh  dalam memanajemen pusatnya agar persoalan yang terkait dengan studi mahasiswa dapat tercapai tepat waktu, kompeten, berinegritas, dan berkarakter.

Ia berharap Pusat Karir dan Konseling UNNES bersedia menjadi mitra kerjasama yang saling menguatkan.

Pertemuan juga dilajutkan dengan menelaah perbagai instrumen yang selama ini digunakan oleh Pusat Konseling UNNES dalam melayani para mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan minat, bakat dan potensinya serta dalam mengeliminir adanya problem non akademik dan akademik yang diperkirakan akan mengganggu prestasi mahasiswa.

Pada penghujung acara, tim  memperoleh penjelasan dengan runtut dari para Tutor Sebaya yang selama ini telah bekerja keras mendukung suksesnya serangkaian program di pusat tersebut. Pada sesi ini, mereka terkesan akan komitmen, keihlasan dan kinerja para Tutor Sebaya yang sangat kompak mewujudkan tercapainya program secara optimal tanpa mengenal lelah dan selalu berdedikasi.
