Dirjen Belmawa Kemristekdikti: Terus Kuliah Fasilitas Negara Manfaatkan untuk Prestasi

Direktur Jenderal Pembelajaran dan Kemahasiswaan (Dirjenbelmawa) Kementerian Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemenristekdikti) Prof Dr Ismunandar PhD mengajak kepada ribuan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) untuk terus berprestasi.

Ajakan itu disampaikan pada Kuliah Umum dengan tema “Softskill Kepemimpinan Bagi Mahasiswa di Era Disrupsi”,  Senin (17/12) di auditorium kampus Sekaran.

“Terus kuliah fasilitas dari negara melalui Bidik misi ini harus dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya untuk prestasi, prestasi, dan prestasi”, tegas Prof Ismunandar.

Prof Ismunandar juga mengemukakan, kita semua harus semangat untuk terus maju dan pendidikan adalah satu-satunya cara untuk meningkatkan derajat sosialnya melalui pendidikan.

Untuk itu restu orang tua adalah segalanya jangan sekali sekali lupakan itu. Orang tua itu tidak hanya ayah dan ibu kandung saja tapi termasuk juga guru di sekolah dan dosen kita di kampus. Jadi restu dari orang tua, restu dari guru, dan restu dari dosen kita adalah menentukan kesuksesan kita, terangnya.

Generasi merupakan agen perubahan yakni dapat mendorong perubahan dengan cara pandang, pola pikir, sikap, memiliki komitmen moral, semangat untuk maju, berprestasi tinggi lebih produktif dan memiliki rasa cinta tanah air yang kuat mewujudkan Indonesia yang berdaulat berdikari, dan berkepribadian.

Kemudian, generasi juga siap untuk berkompetisi dan unggul di dunia global. Masa depan Indonesia penuh dengan tantangan, untuk itu diperlukan tenaga profesional berkualitas dari generasi muda Indonesia.

Tantangan generasi milenial yang mengamcam peradaban bangsa diantaranya pengangguran meningkat 7 juta orang, radikalisme, berita hoax, dan narkoba.

Sebelumnya, Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum saat membuka kegiatan menyampaikan, salah satu prestasi yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa adalah Soft skill. Menurut riset didalam meraih sukses,  soft skill itu menduduki 80 persen dibanding dengan hard skill.

Oleh karena itu soft skill harus dikembangkan terus, salah satu yang dikembangkan adalah Leadership (kepemimpinan). dan mahasiswa adalah termasuk calon seorang pemimpin.

Kuliah Umum dipandu oleh Dr Suparmin, hadir Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Dr Abdurrahman MPd, dan Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan.
