Desa Binaan UNNES, Lereng Kelir Coffee Ecopark Menjadi Destinasi Wisata di Jawa Tengah

Keberlangsungan pariwisata yang berkualitas di Jawa Tengah memang memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, termasuk Perguruan Tinggi, guna memajukan dan mensejahterakan masyarakat melalui Program Pengabdian Masyarakat, di Dusun Gertas, Desa Brongkol, Kecamatan Jambu Kabupaten Semarang, sebagai salah satu desa wisata binaan Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).

Sebelumnya, desa yang terletak di lereng kelir ini telah dikenal sebagai penghasil kopi lanang dan durian dengan kualitas baik.

Peresmian Lereng Kelir Coffee Ecopark sebagai desa wisata dilakukan oleh Wakil Ketua DPR RI, Ir Agus Hermanto, didampingi Bupati Semarang Dr H Mundjirin ES SPOG, Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik Prof Dr Rustono MHum, Wakil Rektor Bidang Perencanaan dan Kerjasama Prof YL Sukestiarno PhD, Kepala LP2M, Prof Dr Totok Sumaryanto MHum, dan Kepala Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Urip Sihabudin, Sabtu (14/4) di desa Brongkol.

Saat memberi sambutan Bupati Semarang menyampaikan, harapan kedepan desa Brongkol dapat berkembang sebagai desa wisata. Kehadiran UNNES dapat membuat masyarakat didusun Brongkol ini dari tidak tahu menjadi tahun dan dapat mengelola desanya sebagai desa wisata.

Pemerintah Kabupaten Semarang mendukung penuh dan siap memfasilitasi guna mengembangkan lereng kelir dan juga komoditi didalamnya dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas dan dapat menjadi komuditas andalan dari kabupaten Semarang.

Demikian juga Ketua DPR RI, Agus Hermanto, saya sangat senang dan bangga dengan program ini. Kedepan bukan hanya desanya yang kembangkan tetapi juga sumberdaya manusia didesa ini dapat ditingkatkan.

Dengan adanya sumberdaya manusia yang handal maka saya yakin desa ini akan berkembang pesat sebagai desa wisata dan komuditas kopi lanang akan semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat luas dengan penanganan yang profesional.

Senada dengan Ketua DPR RI Prof Rustono menyampaikan, UNNES secara aktif melakukan pendampingan kepada masyarakat untuk dapat lebih mengembangkan potensi daerah. Diharapkan melalui Program Diseminasi Produk Teknologi ke Masyarakat melalui pengembangan Inisiasi Ekowisata Berbasis Masyarakat “ Lereng Kelir Coffee Ecopark” dapat membuka peluang usaha dan menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat setempat.

Selaun penandatangan prasasti oleh Ketua DPR RI, Agus Hermanto juga diadakan jalan sehat di lereng kelir yang dilakukan oleh murid SD disekitar lereng kelir.
