Beri Tausiah di FBS, Rektor : Mari Belajar Keikhlasan dari Imam Al-Ghazali

Kebaikan yang dilakukan seseorang tidak selalu diketahui orang lain. Namun, tidak satu pun kebaikan yang luput dari perhatian Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Tuhan akan memberikan balasan, baik melalui orang sekitar maupun melalui alam. Yang terpenting adalah keikhlasan dalam menjalankannya.

Demikian pesan yang disampaikan Rektor Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum dalam acara buka puasa bersama antara keluarga besar Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) dengan pimpinan universitas, Selasa (29/5).

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Rektor mengajak seluruh hadirin untuk meneladani kisah keikhlasan dari seorang ulama sekaligus ahli filsafat islam Imam Al-Ghazali.

“Suatu ketika Imam al-Ghazali menulis kitab. Pada waktu itu orang menulis menggunakan tinta dan sebatang pena. Pena itu harus dicelupkan dulu kedalam tinta baru kemudian dipakai untuk menulis, jika habis di celup lagi dan menulis lagi,” jelasnya.

Ditengah kesibukan menulis itu, lanjut Rektor, tiba-tiba terbanglah seekor lalat dan hinggap di mangkuk tinta Imam Al- Ghazali. Lalat itu tampaknya sedang kehausan. Ia meminum tinta dimangkuk itu. Melihat lalat yang kehausan itu, Imam al-Ghazali membiarkan saja lalat itu meminum tintanya.

“Lalat juga makhluk Allah yang harus diberikan kasih sayang, pikir Al-Ghazali saat itu. Ketika Al-Ghazali wafat, selang beberapa hari kemudian, seorang Ulama yang merupakan sahabat dekat beliau bermimpi. Dalam mimpi itu, Imam Al Ghazali menyampaikan bahwa, Allah telah menempatkannya  di tempat yang paling baik,” terang Rektor.

Allah memberinya tempat yg terbaik, lanjut Rektor, hanya karena pada saat menulis beliau memberikan kesempatan kepada seekor lalat untuk meminum tintanya karena kehausan. Beliau melakukan itu dengan penuh keikhlasan karena beliau sayang pada makhluk Allah.

“Dari kisah sufi tersebut, memberi kita hikmah bahwa tidak ada salahnya jika kita menolong mahluk Allah.  bayangkan hanya sekadar membiarkan lalat yang kehausan untuk minum saja menjadikan sebab seseorang masuk surga, apalagi memberi makan kepada sesama manusia. Bersedekah bagi sesama yang benar-benar membutuhkan. Kuncinya, lakukan hal tersebut dengan penuh keikhlasan dan mengharap rida-Nya,” pungkas Profesor bidang Sosiolinguistik tersebut.

Kegiatan yang bertempat di gedung dekanat FBS ini, juga dimeriahkan dengan pembacaan puisi oleh dosen Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Ucik Fuadhiyah SPd MPd.

“Saya akan membacakan dua puisi terbaik yang ada di fakultas ini. Yang terbaik kedua adalah karya Bapak Dekan Prof Dr Agus Nuryatin MHum dan terbaik pertama adalah karya dari Bapak Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum,” jelas Ucik sebelum membacakan puisi diiringi tepuk tangan meriah hadirin.

Dalam sambutan pembukanya, Dekan FBS Prof Dr Agus Nuryatin MHum berharap, kegiatan tersebut dapat mempererat silaturahim antar civitas akademika, terutama dikalangan keluarga besar FBS.
