Beri Sapaan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji, Menristekdikti Pilih UNNES Pertama

Menteri Riset, Teknologi  dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Menristekdikti) Prof Mohammad Nasir PhD memberikan sapaan pertama diantara Perguruan Tinggi lain melalui telekonferensi kepada sivitas akademika Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), saat memberikan sambutan dalam kegiatan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji 2017, Senin (6/11).

Kegiatan berpusat di Universitas Sriwijaya yang dipimpin langsung oleh Menristekdikti Mohammad Nasir. Ia memberikan komando dimulainya kegiatan khataman Alquran di 15 kampus secara serentak.

Dalam sambutannya, Nasir mengajak seluruh masyarakat muslim untuk terus memuliakan, menjaga, dan mengamalkan isi kandungan dalam Alquran.

“Alquran memang seharusnya menjadi primadona bagi setiap muslim. Tidak hanya kebutuhan, tetapi juga pedoman hidup. Untuk memuliakan Alquran yang paling baik adalah dengan menghafal dan mengamalkannya”, jelas Nasir.

Untuk itu, tambah Nasir, Kemenristekdikti sangat mengapresiasi dan mendukung penyelenggaraan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji. Kegiatan ini telah berhasil mengkhatamkan Alquran secara serentak dari berbagai penjuru daerah di Indonesia.

“Dengan memahami isi Alquran, lantas diterapkan dalam berperilaku sehari-hari, nantinya Allah akan memberikan rahmat bagi kelangsungan hidup masyarakat di negeri ini”, tambah Menristekdikti keduabelas tersebut.

Sementara itu, penyelenggaraan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji di gedung rektorat Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) berlangsung khidmat dengan dihadiri oleh unsur pimpinan dilingkungan UNNES bersama 100 mahasiswa hafiz dan hafizah.

Dalam sambutannya, Rektor UNNES Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum berharap kegiatan Kampus Nusantara Mengaji ke depan akan menjadi agenda rutin yang berkelanjutan dan dapat memupuk nilai-nilai karakter mahasiswa.

“Sekarang di Universitas Sriwijaya. Maret 2018 yang bertepatan dengan Dies Natalis ke-53, UNNES siap menjadi tuan rumah Kampus Nusantara Mengaji”, jelas Rektor.

Rektor juga mengimbau kepada mahasiswa untuk tetap merendahkan hati terutama dalam belajar dan menuntut ilmu.

“Semakin mendaki pengetahuan, kita harus semakin merendahkan hati dengan merasa masih belum berilmu. Seperti halnya padi, semakin berisi pasti akan semakin merunduk. Selain itu, jangan lupa untuk mendoakan bapak ibu dosen karena dengan mendoakan merekalah, ilmu yang anda dapat akan menjadi berkah dan bermanfaat”, pungkas profesor bidang Sosiolinguistik itu.
