Berbagi Pengalaman, Unnes Gandeng 5 Perguruan Tinggi

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menjalin kerja sama dengan lima perguruan tinggi di Jawa Tengah, Rabu (3/4) kemarin. Selain dengan Politeknik Maritim Negeri Indonesia (Polimarin), Unnes juga bekerja sama dengan Universitas Muhamadiyah Magelang (UMM), Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP), Universitas Wahid hasyim (Unwahas), dan Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo (Unmuh Purworejo).

“Proses membesarkan sebuah perguruan tinggi kan sulit, sehingga kami perlu meminta sumbang saran dan mengadakan hubungan kerja sama dengan Unnes,” kata Direktur Politeknik Maritim Negeri Semarang Indonesia (Polimarin) Sri Tutie Rahayu MSi sesaat setelah penandatangan memorandum of understanding (MoU).

Tutie berharap kerja sama antarperguruan tinggi dapat terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kedua belah pihak. Dalam nota kesepahaman disepakati, baik Unnes maupun perguruan tinggi mitra berkomitmen meningkatkan kerja sama di bidang pengajaran, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat.

“Prof Sudijono sudah berhasil membesarkan Unnes menjadi Universitas Konservasi sehingga tidak salah kalau kami berguru pada Unnes,” lanjut Tutie.

Kepada tamunya, Rektor Unnes Sudijono Sastroatmodjo berharap kerja sama ini sebagai sarana untuk bantu membantu. “Tidak ada alasan apa pun bagi Unnes untuk tidak membantu. Kami turut bangga karena ada perguruan tinggi yang mau mengambil peran untuk meningkatkan pendidikan bersama Unnes,” ujarnya dalam acara yang dihadiri para dekan, ketua lembaga, kepala badan, dan kepala unit pelaksana teknis itu.

Sudijono kembali mengingatkan pentingnya berbagi, terutama berbagi ilmu. Menurutnya, ilmu yang dibagikan kepada orang lain tidak akan membuat pemberinya kehilangan. Sebaliknya, dengan berbagi ilmu yang dimiliki justru akan semakin bertambah.

“Sebuah lembaga menjadi bermakna ketika dapat bermanfaat bagi siapa pun,” tandasnya.

Selain dengan perguruan tinggi di Jawa Tengah, Unnes juga menandatangani kesepakatan kerja sama dengan berbagai perguruan tinggi lain. Bahkan, beberapa perguruan tinggi di Eropa, Amerika, Asia, dan Australia dijadikan mitra Universitas Konservasi ini. “Dengan yang jauh saja kami telah bekerja sama, tentu tidak etis kalau dengan yang dekat, tetangga sendiri, tidak,” katanya.
