Beasiswa Luar Negeri, Mengapa Tidak?

Ratusan mahasiswa hadir untuk mendengarkan sosialisasi beasiswa Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) Kementerian Keuangan, Kamis (23/01), di rektorat lantai IV.

Sosialisasi yang diadakan oleh Unnes bekerja sama dengan Alfalink itu memberikan informasi tentang cara mendapatkan beasiswa ke luar negeri. ”Mendapat beasiswa ke luar negeri bukan perkara sulit. Hanya, kebanyakan orang susah mendapatkan informasi, sehingga sosialisasi ini sangat penting,” ujar Heri Kismaryono, Kepala Biro Administrasi Akademik Kemahasiswaan dan Kerja Sama (BAAKK) dalam sambutanya.

Kegiatan ini menghadirkan tiga narasumber dari latar yang berbeda. Imam Santoso selaku manajer Alfalink, Tara Putri sebagai penerima beasiswa LPDP, dan Aldys Tan sebagai wakil Curtin University di Indonesia. Mereka berkolaborasi untuk menyajikan informasi sedetail mungkin mengenai beasiswa tersebut.

“Saya kagum, Unnes adalah universitas paling peduli dalam memfasilitasi studi lanjut di luar negeri,” kata manajer Alfalink pada awal presentasinya.

Beasiswa LPDP adalah beasiswa yang diberikan oleh pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Keuangan. Berbeda dari beasiswa Dikti, beasiswa LPDP diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa S1, mahasiswa S2, serta dosen yang belum memiliki nomor induk dosen nasional (NIDN).

Kelebihan beasiswa ini adalah peluang lebih besar, tidak ada batasan kuota, serta tidak mensyaratkan LoA ( letter of acceptance), LoA hanya menjadi nilai tambah dalam beasiswa ini. Yang belum memiliki LoA diberikan waktu selama satu tahun untuk pengurusan.

Pelamar beasiswa ini akan melalui beberapa tahap seperti seleksi administrasi, interview, leadership training, hingga akhirnya memperoleh letter of guarantee.

    ini penting buat semua mahasiswa yang akan mengikuti program ini salut buat panitia, saran boleh ya…karena acara ini diminati oleh banyak mahasiswa perlu disiapkan tempat yang cukup untuk seluruh peserta…kasihan yang berdiri dibelakang…maaf dan terima kasih.

  2. LPDP itu termasuk penyelenggara beasiswa yang mudah. Jadi banyak orang yang berminat untuk mengikuti program beasiswa ini. Persyaratannya juga cenderung lebih mudah dibanding program beasiswa lainnya.
