Bangvasi Bekali Ketrampilan Membuat Pupuk Alami Bagi Kader Konservasi

Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Pengembang Konservasi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Bangvasi Unnes) menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan guna membekali dan meningkatkan pengetahuan para pengurus Rumah Kompos. Kegiatan dilakukan guna menciptakan kader konservasi di Unnes. 60 peserta pelatihan mengikuti kegiatan tersebut di Gedung Pusat Kegiatan Mahasiswa Unnes (PKMU), Minggu, (3/4).

Kepala UPT Bangvasi Drs Kusmuriyanto MSi mengatakan, pelatihan bertujuan untuk membekali pengetahuan dan ketrampilan tentang pembuatan pupuk guna mendukung visi Unnes menjadi kampus konservasi bereputasi international yang Hijau, Bersih dan sehat (HIBAT).

“Pelatihan akan terus berlanjut guna membekali pengetahuan dan ketrampilan para anggota Rumah Kompos Unnes supaya menjadi kader konservasi yang sesungguhnya yang dapat mengaktualisasikan ilmunya baik dilingkungan, perkuliahan, serta di masyarakat” tutur Drs Kusmuriyanto.

Hadir sebagai nara sumber Dr Siti Harnina Dosen Biologi Unnes memyampaikan materi tentang pembuatan starter pupuk dari bahan marginal dan penggunaannya, sedangkan Sutriatmo Ketua LP2KLH Kendal memaparkan materi tentang farming kompos berbasis masyarakat mulai dari pembuatan alat hingga proses akhir menjadi produk pupuk cair dan padat.

Peserta pelatihan juga melakukan praktik membuat tiga jenis Starter atau Micro Organisme Local dan pembuatan pupuk cair, yang nantinya akan dikembangkan di Rumah Kompos Unnes.

    Saya pernah bergabung di rumah kompos, disitu saya diajarkan tentang bagaimana membuat pupuk kompos secara sederhana, tidak terlalu sulit sebenarnya. hanya memang dibutuhkan peralatan yang lumayan berat. Pelatihan terbaru tentang pembuatan pupuk alami untuk anggota rumah kompos harapannya bisa menjadikan rumah komos lebih inovatif dalam pembuatan pupuk ramah lingkungan. Dan pelatihan ini akan sangat bermanfaat jika ditularkan ke masyarakat, bisa melalui KKN, pengabdian dosen, dan lainnya..

  2. Meski belum mendapat kesempatan untuk bisa mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, sebagai mahasiswa Unnes, saya merasa bangga. Unnes sadar untuk menciptakan kader konservasi yang berkualitas tentunya dibutuhkan berbagai upaya. Salah satunya dengan adanya pelatihan-pelatihan seperti ini. Sehingga memberikan ilmu-ilmu yang baru dan bermanfaat baik bagi diri sendiri maupun di masyarakat.
    Semoga kegiatan seperti ini kedepannya bisa diikuti oleh seluruh mahasiswa Unnes.
