Badan Bahasa Kerja Sama dengan PT dan Disdik

Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyelenggarakan kerja sama dengan berbagai Perguruan Tinggi (PT) Negeri dan Swasta serta Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) di Jawa Tengah.

Penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman oleh Kepala Badan Pengembangan dan Pembinaan Bahasa Prof Dr Mahsun MS, Rektor, dan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan. Kegiatan dipusatkan di Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) kampus Sekaran Jumat (30/11).

Mereka adalah Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Purwokerto, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, UKSW Salatiga, IKIP PGRI Semarang, Universitas Pekalongan, Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten, Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara, Disdikpora Kabupaten Blora, Dinas Pendidikan Kota Semarang, dan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Semarang.

“Selama ini badan bahasa lebih banyak menutup diri sehingga masyarakat kurang mengerti mengenai persoalan kebahasaan yang semakin menarik. Bahasa tidak hanya menyangkut persoalan bahasa sebagai komunikasi tetapi juga sebagai identitas kita,” kata Prof Mahsun.

Prof Mahsun juga mengemukakan untuk mengatasi persoalan itu Badan Bahasa perlu mengadakan kerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi maupun daerah. Sebab dunia pendidikan tak lepas dari dosen dan guru.

Nilai UN Jeblok
Kepala Badan Bahasa berharap dengan melibatkan pendidik yang inovatif (pengembangan, penyuluhan, dan pembinaan bahasa) di bangku sekolah dan kuliah dapat membentuk cara berpikir peserta didik lebih baik pula. Kenyataannya beberapa tahun akhir ini nilai mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dibandingkan dengan mata pelajaran lain hasilnya jeblok dalam Ujian Nasional (UN).

Senada dengan Kepala Badan Bahasa, Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo berharap dengan kerja sama itu pembinaan bahasa menjadi lebih baik. Peran perguruan tinggi membina secara akademis, membawa peserta didik di dalam kurikulum yang tepat, dan proses pembimbingan dilakukan dengan komunikasi secara langsung sehingga tidak ada hambatan.

Namun kelemahan itu tidak hanya di satu pihak. Ketika ini ada upaya dari pemerintah untuk penyegaran, pelatihan dan sebagainya insya Allah persoalan-persoalan itu bisa teratasi.
