Auditor Puji Kesiapan Sejumlah Program Studi

Pak Agung, ini hal baik dari Jurusan Bahasa Jawa yang belum ditemukan di prodi lain, bahkan fakultas lain, yaitu antisipasi plagiatisme pakai kartu kendali melalui rumpun bidang studi/KBK, sasaran mutu, semua dokumen ada rekap pencapaian.”

Begitu bunyi pesan pendek yang masuk di telepon seluler Sekretaris Badan Penjaminan Mutu Unnes Agung Yulianto, Kamis ( 6/10) siang. SMS dikirim oleh salah satu auditor yang melakukan mean assessment sertifikasi ISO 9001:2008 dan IWA 2:2007 di kampus ini.

Sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya, selama 5-7 Oktober 2011 dilakukan audit sistem penjaminan mutu perguruan tinggi (SPMPT) sebagaimana diamanatkan UU Sisdiknas. Ruang lingkup sertifikasi meliputi kegiatan pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang melibatkan 8 fakultas, 49 program studi S1, LP2M, BPM, BPTIK, UPT Perpustakaaan, BAUK, dan BAAKK.

Agung mengatakan, pesan tersebut merupakan bagian dari temuan positif dari beberapa program studi, termasuki Teknik Jasa Produksi dan Manajemen. “Memang ada beberapa pujian dari auditor terhadap beberapa prodi yang sangat siap diaudit, mulai dari komitmen yang baik, dukungan dosen yang luar biasa, serta dokumen yang lengkap,” katanya.

Dia menjelaskan, mean assessment dilaksanakan oleh empat auditor dari PT SGS, badan sertifikasi yang berpusat di Jakarta. “Dalam pelaksanaanya, para auditor melakukan klarifikasi yang terkait dengan dokumen akademik, baik itu sasaran dan rencana mutu maupun prosedur mutu yang digunakan,” katanya.

Terkait sasaran dan rencana mutu, lanjut Agung, diperiksa prosesnya mencapai indikator sasaran atau target. “Kalau tidak tercapai, bagaimana action plan-nya sebagai upaya tindak lanjut perbaikan ke depan dari target yang tidak tercapai.”

Disebutkan pula, auditor menggunakan metode yang berbeda ketika mendapatkan temuan. “Ada yang menilai dari aspek administrasinya. Ada yang dari aspek pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di kelas dan ada yang melihat bagaimana pelayanan di laboratorium serta aspek sarana prasarana pembelajaran.”

Hasil Sementara

Sejauh ini, hasil audit yang bisa direkam, masih ditemukan metode pembelajaran di kelas kurang variatif, seperti banyak mahasiswa mengantuk, sibuk menulis materi di slide yang seharusnya tidak perlu ditulis ulang cukup ditulis yang disampaikan dosen.
“Ditemukan pula masih ada layanan laboratorium belum dilengakapi instruksi kerja yang jelas,” katanya.

Temuan seragam yang terkait kegiatan, belum dilakukannya verifikasi atau validasi perangkat pembelajaran sebelum digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan validasi soal ujian. “Untuk sarana prasarana kelas, ditemukan banyak kelas yang kurang standar seperti lampu tidak terang, LCD tidak jelas, dan tidak ada check list ruang,” katanya.

Untuk sasaran mutu, perlu disiapkan prosedur yang jelas dalam melaksanakan atau memenuhi setiap indikatornya. “Perlu dibuatkan matrik korelasi antara prosedur dan sasaran yang dicapai,” katanya.
