Asesor BAN-PT: Jika Tak Dikelola Kontinu, Prodi Bisa Ditutup

Pengelola program studi perguruan tinggi dituntut mengelola lembaganya secara berkesinambungan. Pengelolaan yang optimal merupakan hal mendasar dan akan berdampak pada kualitas prodi yang mampu menghasilkan lulusan mumpuni.

Demikian dijelaskan asesor Badan Akreditas Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT), Dr Pujiharto, sejenak sebelum melakukan visitasi akreditasi di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa Universitas Negeri Semarang, kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Semarang, Kamis, 19 Oktober 2017. “Jika pengelolaan tak bisa kontinu, program studi bisa saja ditutup. Misalnya, terkait manajemen prodi yang buruk dan mahasiswa yang terus berkurang,” kata Pujiharto yang dosen Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta itu.

Menurut Pujiharto, dalam pengelolaan, prodi mesti mengikuti standar yang telah jelas ditentukan. Standar tersebut menuntut capaian-capaian pengelolaan yang mesti dipatuhi pengelola. Dalam hal ini, pengelolaan tak samata berurusan dengan administrasi, namun juga capaian. “Misalnya, dalam setahun prodi hanya terlibat beberapa kegiatan ilmiah, padahal memiliki dosen dengan jumlah belasan. Secara capaian, hal itu memperlihatkan prodi tidak berkembang,” ujarnya.

Pujiharto mengatakan, akreditasi bertujuan untuk melakukan pengecekan lapangan terkait pengelolaan dan capaian yang tertulis dalam borang. Kelengkapan yang bersifat administratif, seperti kelengkapan dokumen dan perawatan sarana, menjadi bukti jika sistem pengelolaan berjalan semestinya.

Selain Pujiharto, asesor BAN-PT yang juga hadir melakukan visitasi adalah Dr Aris Badara, dosen Universitas Halu Oleo, Kendari. Hadir pula mendampingi visitasi akreditasi, Dekan FBS Prof Agus Nuryatin MHum, Wakil Dekan I Prof M Jazuli MHum, Wakil Dekan II Dr Sri Rejeki Urip MHum, Wakil Dekan III Syahrul Syah Sinaga MHum, Sekretaris Badan Penjaminan Mutu Agung Yulianto, Kepala Pusat Penjaminan Mutu Eksternal Diah Vitri Widayanti DEA, Koordinator Penjaminan Mutu FBS Nas Haryati Setyaningsih MPd, dan Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Pendidikan Profesi Guru dan Sertifikasi Profesi Agus Yuwono MPd.

Akreditasi Unggul

Rektor Prof Fathur Rokhman MHum yang menyambut kedua asesor menyatakan, melalui Badan Penjamin Mutu, pihaknya terus mendorong prodi memiliki akreditasi unggul. Pada akhir 2016, UNNES meraih akreditasi institusi A. UNNES kini memiliki 87 prodi dengan sebaran 68 prodi diploma dan sarjana, 14 program magister, dan lima program doktor. Sebanyak 41 di antaranya telah mengantongi akreditasi A. Jumlah tersebut terus bertambah mengingat saat ini terdapat puluhan prodi yang sedang mengajukan akreditasi dan menunggu visitasi oleh BAN-PT.

Koordinartor Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa, Widodo mengatakan, pihaknya tidak hanya merespons perkembangan zaman melalui penyesuaian matakuliah, namun juga berupaya menjadi market leader. Sejumlah matakuliah yang diselenggarakan berdasar kebutuhan lapangan, antara lain panatacara, karawitan, tembang, dan drama. Meski demikian, prodinya tetap mengdepankan matakuliah keilmuan, sesuai dengan visi “Menjadi pusat pengembangan dan penerapan ilmu pendidikan bahasa Jawa.”

Widodo menjelaskan, dalam konteks tri dharma perguruan tinggi, prodinya menunjukkan progres, baik dalam hal pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian. “Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jawa juga berupaya menjadi pilar konservasi budaya Jawa,” katanya.
