Akses Bekerja Bagi Para Lulusan

Ribuan orang memadati pintu masuk Auditorim Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) kampus Sekaran, Rabu (9/11).
Mereka datang untuk mengikuti Unnes Job Fair 2011 yang mengusung tema “Konservasi Universitas Negeri Semarang terhadap Link antara Lulusan dan Dunia Kerja”.

Acara ini merupakan agenda tahunan Pusat Pengembangan Layanan Konseling dan Bursa Kerja (PPLK-BK)–LP3 Unnes dalam mempertemukan para pencari kerja yang potensial dengan perusahaan-perusahaan mitra Unnes.

Ketua Panitia Unnes Job Fair 2011 Nurul Fibrianti mengatakan, Kegiatan yang berlangsung dua hari, Rabu (9/11) dan Kamis (10/11), itu diikuti 10 perusahaan, yaitu KPSG, Shimano, PKSS (BRI Group), AOS, Konimex, Sinotif, BMJ Power, Bank PTPN, dan Swamandiri. “Dalam kegiatan ini kami juga bekerja sama dengan DPP Ikatan Alumni (IKA) Unnes,” ungkapnya.

Tujuan kegiatan ini, menurutnya, untuk membuka akses bagi para lulusan Unnes selaku pencari kerja agar mendapatkan pekerjaan dan tempat kerja yang sesuai dengan keinginan dan karakteristik kepribadiannya. “Sebetulnya acara ini di peruntukan khusus alumni Unnes, namun bila ada masyarakat umum yang mau mengikuti dipersilakan,” kata Nurul yang juga dosen Fakultas Hukum Unnes.

Para pencari kerja yang ingin mengikuti Unnes Job Fair 2011 cukup membawa curriculum vitae (CV). Hari ini banyak perusahaan yang hanya menerima CV untuk calon pelamar. Tahap selanjutnya seperti interview dan psikotest akan dilaksanakan sore hari atau besok setelah para pelamar dinyatakan lolos seleksi adminitrasi perusahaan bersangkutan.

Hal tersebut diungkapkan Mylani Budiarti, salah satu personel human resource development (HRD) perusahaan yang mengisi kegiatan di Unnes Job Fair 2011 ini. PT Konimex, misalnya, dalam perekrutan hari ini meminta para pelamar untuk mendaftar dan memasukkan CV. Proses selanjutnya akan dihubungi setelah lolos proses adminitrasi. Tetapi ada juga perusahaan yang langsung melakukan interview dan psikotest.

Menurut Yunan, salah satu pengurus DPP IKA Unnes, melalui tatap muka langsung dengan HRD dari tiap-tiap perusahaan, diharapkan perekrutan dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien. “Unnes Job Fair 2011 ini dimaksudkan sebagai wadah alternatif bagi para pencari kerja dan dapat memfasilitasi perusahaan untuk mendapatkan tenaga kerja sesuai dengan yang diharapkan,” lanjutnya.

  2. Pada saat berita ini ditulis, pengunjung dari alumni Unnes yang tercatat dalam buku kehadiran sebanyak 1.131 orang dan umum tidak kurang dari 100 orang. Terima kasih.

    lebih baik unnes menjalin kerjasama dahulu biar perusahaannya banyak,jangan terburu buru mengadakan job fair,lebih baik job fairnya 1 tahun sekali tapi berkualitas perusahan2 nya..thanks,sukses selalu buat kampusku tercinta.

    Hahahaha, baru kali ini ada jobfair hanya diikuti 8 perusahaan. jangan ngurusin tanaman dan konservasinya mulu lah Unnes ini, job fair yang bergengsi pun pasti akan menaikkan pamor unnes di dunia perkampusan 🙂

    Yang paling penting tambah laboratorium dengaan peralatan super canggih dan modern, buka S2 dan S3 prodi murni, banyak rekrut alumni UNNES tuk jdi dosen, masak sama output sendiri diragukan, n buka pusat studi di lingkungan unnes, but program konservasi terus dijalankan. SALAM ALUMNI.
