Akan Dinegerikan, Unswagati Berguru kepada Unnes

Rektor Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati (Unswagati) Cirebon Prof Dr Rochanda Wiradinata MP bersama rombongan mengunjungi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Rabu (15/10).

Mereka datang untuk “berguru” kepada Unnes untuk mempersiapkan perubahan status mereka dari perguruan tinggi swasta menjadi perguruan tinggi negeri.

Rombongan Unswagati diterima oleh Rektor Unnes Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum bersama Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd dan sejumlah pejabat lain.

“Saya sedang mempersiapkan diri menuju universitas negeri yang memiliki jejaring global. Oleh karena itu, kami mesti lihat dulu kampus Unnes,” kata Prof Rochanda.

Menurut Prof Rochanda, Uswaganti terus melebarkan sayapnya untuk mengembangkan kualitas akademik dan dosen dalam rangka mempersiapkan diri menuju universitas negeri yang memiliki jejaring mendunia.

“Salah satu langkah yang ditempuh Unswaganti adalah dengan menggandeng Unnes sebagai mitra kerja sama, “ katanya.

Kepada tamunya, Rektor Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan, tak mungkin sebuah universitas mampu mengembangkan diri secara optimal tanpa bekerja sama dengan universitas lain.

“Di antara universitas-universitas, pastilah ada kelebihan yang dimiliki, namun di situ pula sangat mungkin ada kelemahannya. Dengan kerja sama, kita bisa saling melengkapi. Sebab, akan tiada artinya keberadaan kita jika tidak saling berbagi,” katanya.

Di lembaga yang dipimpinnya, kata Prof Fathur, salah satu keunggulan yang dapat dibagikan adalah sistem teknologi informasi. Hingga saat ini, setidaknya Unnes telah memiliki 115 sistem yang semuanya dibangun untuk mempermudah akses informasi dan data yang serba cepat.

“Unnes mempersilakan perguruan tinggi manapun yang akan meniru atau menggunakan sistem yang ada di Unnes,” katanya sembari mengatakan beberapa sistem juga dipakai direktorat pendidikan tinggi Kementerian Pendidikan.

Selain pertemuan Unnes dan Unswagati, pada hari yang sama Unnes juga menandatangani nota kesepahaman dengan PT Telkomsel.

  1. terlau banyaknya sistem perlu dievaluasi. mana sistem yang efektif dan tidak. kita sebagai pengguna bisa bingung karena terlalu banyak sistem. jika bisa diintegrasikan menjadi beberapa sistem itu akan sangat memudahkan. misal: sitedi, simppl, simkkn, sibima, mulang.unnes.ac.id bisa diintegrasikan dengan sikadu.

    Pak azinar bisa login ke sistem manapun utk otomatis masuk ke sistem lain tanpa harus login ulang. Jd scr hakekat sdh terintegrasi
