8 Mahasiswa Berebut Kursi Mapres 2015

Sebanyak delapan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang memperebutkan menjadi mahasiswa prestasi (Mapres) universitas 2015.

Mereka yakni Abdil Kholiq dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP), Lutfiana Ilma Annisa FBS), Imada Cahya Septiyaningsih (FIS), Reza Faizal (FMIPA), Didik Prasetyo (FT), Rizki Khalalia (FIK), Eva Andriani (FE), dan Laili Ermalatri (FH).

Ketua panitia Trimurtini SPd MPd menyampaikan, kedelapan mahasiswa ini merupakan hasil seleksi terbaik dari masing-masing fakultas.

Seleksi dilakukan selama dua hari Rabu sampai Kamis (6-7/5) di rektorat kampus Sekaran. Hari pertama seleksi bahasa inggris dengan cara peserta mengambil topik undian, kemudian judul topik dibacakan kepada panitia. Setelah itu peserta mendalami topik itu selama dua menit, dilanjutkan paparan lima menit, dan tanya jawab 12 menit.

Sedangkan untuk hari kedua (7/5) semua peserta satu per satu mempresentasikan karya ilmiahnya, dilanjutkan tanya jawab.

Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Dr Bambang Budi Raharjo saat membuka menyampaikan, di bidang kemahasiswaan itu ada empat olah yang harus dilakukan yakni olah pikir, olah rasa, olah kata, dan olah raga.

Apakah kedelapan calon Mapres universitas ini sudah menguasai keempat ‘olah’ ini atau belum, tanya Dr Bambang BR (panggilan akrapnya).

Jika seseorang itu dinyatakan juara, seharusnya ke semua ‘olah’ itu dikuasai, kata Dr Bambang BR.

Selain itu kunci sukses seseorang dalam berkehidupan yakni harus pintar berkomunikasi, bisa menyelesaikan masalah, dan bisa diajak bekerjasama.

Menurut Dr Bambang BR, jika berprestasi itu digunakan hanya untuk diri sendiri maka tidak ada gunanya, lain halnya jika bisa diimplementasikan ketiga kunci sukses tersebut.

Dr Bambang BR berharap, tahun kemarin Mapres Unnes masuk peringkat tiga besar nasional, mudah-mudahan 2015 ini Mapres Unnes juga bisa mempertahankan di tiga besar, syukur bisa menjadi urutan pertama.
