42 Mahasiswa UNNES Terima Beasiswa Baznas Jateng

Sebanyak 42 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) hari ini menerima beasiswa dari Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) Jawa Tengah, Selasa (12/9/2023). Penyerahan beasiswa ini merupakan langkah penting dalam upaya mendorong pengembangan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah Semarang.

Acara penyerahan beasiswa ini berlangsung meriah di Ruang 405 Rektorat UNNES dengan dihadiri oleh Wakil Rektor IV UNNES, Ketua Baznas Jateng, Direktur DAKK UNNES, Wakil Ketua IV Baznas Jateng, dan para penerima beasiswa.

Kehadiran Baznas Jateng dalam acara ini menunjukkan komitmen Baznas untuk mendukung pendidikan di Indonesia melalui pemberian beasiswa kepada mahasiswa berprestasi, khususnya di Universitas Negeri Semarang.

Wakil Rektor IV UNNES, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM., dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Baznas Jateng atas kontribusi besar dalam mendukung pendidikan tinggi.

“Beasiswa ini sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam mengejar impian mereka untuk meraih pendidikan tinggi yang berkualitas,” ujar Guru Besar Fakultas Teknik itu.

Hal ini, imbuhnya, merupakan kesempatan luar biasa bagi mahasiswa UNNES karena diberikan kepercayaan dan mandat oleh Baznas Jateng untuk menerima beasiswa.

Ketua Baznas Jateng, Dr. KH. Ahmad Darodji, M.Si., menjelaskan Baznas Jateng berkomitmen penuh untuk memberikan program bermanfaat baik yang bersifat konsumtif maupun produktif.

“Beasiswa ini merupakan satu dari beberapa program konsumtif yang telah lama Baznas Jateng jalankan,” paparnya.

Salah seorang mahasiswa penerima beasiswa, Muhammad  Fikri Hidayat, mengungkapkan rasa terima kasihnya atas pemberian beasiswa Baznas Jateng.

“Saya sangat bersyukur atas beasiswa ini. Ini akan membantu saya menyelesaikan kuliah tanpa harus khawatir tentang masalah keuangan,” ujar mahasiswa Teknik Elektro UNNES itu.

UNNES dan Baznas Jateng berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia melalui program-program beasiswa seperti ini. Dengan bantuan dari organisasi seperti Baznas Jateng, semakin banyak generasi muda Indonesia yang dapat mengakses pendidikan tinggi berkualitas dan berkontribusi positif pada pembangunan negara.

Penyerahan beasiswa ini tidak hanya merupakan dorongan bagi 42 mahasiswa UNNES yang beruntung, tetapi juga merupakan langkah penting dalam mewujudkan akses pendidikan yang lebih baik di Indonesia.
