359 PKM Unnes Didanai Ditjen Dikti

Sebanyak 359 proposal Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) didanai Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Dikti) untuk tahun anggaran 2014. Dengan lolosnya proposal sebanyak itu, Unnes berhasil meraih peringkat ketiga nasional.

Hal itu diungkapkan Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd kepada unnes.ac.id, Kamis (30/1), di kampus Sekaran.

Proposal sebanyak itu, lanjut PR III,  terdiri atas 164 PKM Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PKMM), 96 PKM Kewirausahaan (PKMK), 77 PKM Penelitian (PKMP), 5 PKM Penerapan Teknologi (PKMT), dan 17 PKM Karsa Cipta (PKMKC).

Di bidang karya ilmiah tahun ini, prestasi mahasiswa Unnes meningkat. Jika  tahun lalu berada pada posisi keempat, tahun ini Unnes naik satu tingkat, menyodok posisi tiga besar nasional bersama Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) yang berada di peringkat I dan Institut Teknologi Surabaya di posisi II.

Prof Masrukhi juga mencatat, peningkatan tidak hanya terjadi dari segi kuantitas, namun juga kualitas yang antara lain tercermin dari judul yang mereka tampilkan dalam proposal. “Prestasi ini diraih berkat kerja sama yang sinergis antara pimpinan dan budaya berprestasi di kalangan mahasiswa Unnes yang terus berkembang,” ungkapnya.

Staf Ahli PR III Tommi Yuniawan MHum menambahkan, lolosnya 359 proposal itu merupakan modal bagi universitas ini untuk lebih bisa berbicara pada ajang Pekan Ilmiah Nasional 2014 nanti.
