233 Program SM3T Unnes Siap Mengajar di Pengabdian

Itulah sebagian yel-yel yang disuarakan oleh peserta SM3T saat mengikuti prakondisi.

Setelah mengikuti prakondisi selama 13 hari, sebanyak 233 orang program Sarjana Mendidik di Daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM3T) siap mengajar di lima provinsi daerah pengabdian.

Penerjunan oleh Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III) Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd, Minggu (24/8) sore di Graha Wiyata Sinode Salatiga.

Prof Dr Masrukhi mengatakan, di daerah pengabdian nanti tidak ada Mall, tidak ada warung kopi, dan daerahnya masih membutuhkan kita semua untuk membangun saudara-saudara kita yang kehidupannya masih sangat membutuhkan uluran tangan untuk memerangi kebodohan, ketertinggalan, dan kemiskinan agar mereka memparoleh kemajuan-kemajuan serta bisa menikmati hasil pembangunan.

“Itulah ciri dari daerah SM3T sasaran yang akan menjadi kalian mengajar. Apakah kalian sudah siap,” tanya Prof Masrukhi. Siaaap!!! Jawabnya serentak.

Saat prakondisi ketahanmalangan sudah diberi bekal tentang jenis binatang, jenis tumbuhan, dan jenis buah-buahan di hutan yang bisa dikonsumsi untuk bertahan hidup. Itu semua merupakan persiapan untuk memasuki daerah 3T yang nota bene Indonesia itu membentang dari Sabang sampai Maeroke beribu-ribu pulau, kata Prof Masrukhi.

Kalian sudah dibekali berbagai materi yang terkait bagaimana caranya mendekati masyarakat di daerah 3T yang mungkin sementara ini asing bagi kalian supaya mereka tertarik dan mau diajak maju seperti saudara-saudara yang sudah maju sesuai dengan budaya mereka.

Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Profesi Guru (PPG) Unnes Drs Ngabiyanto MSi melaporkan mereka akan mengabdikan ilmunya di lima provinsi selama satu tahun mulai bulan Agustus ini sampai bulan Agustus 2015.

Penyebaran kelima provinsi itu yakni di Provinsi Aceh Besar sebanyak 37 orang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat Kabupaten Landak 30 orang, Sanggau 29 orang, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur Kutai Barat 34 orang, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur Manggarai 36 orang, Ende 38 orang, dan Provinsi Papua Yahokimo 27 orang.
