2012, Unnes Kirim 1.151 Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa

Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) tahun 2012 mengirimkan sebanyak 1.151 usulan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa-Gagasan Tertulis (PKM-GT) dan usulan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa-Artikel Ilmiah (PKM-AI), ke Direktur Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (DP2M Dikti).

Hal itu ditandaskan Koordinator PKM Unnes Tommy Yuniawan SPd MHum yang juga menjabat sebagai staf ahli Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan (PR III), saat ditemui unnes.ac.id di ruang kerjanya, Selasa (10/4).

“Usulan PKM sebanyak 1.151 itu terdiri dari 968 judul PKM-GT dan 183 judul PKM-AI untuk diseleksi oleh tim penilai. Bagi yang usulannya lolos, nanti akan mendapatkan pendanaan dari DP2M Dikti,” kata Tommy.

Tommy juga mengemukakan, PKM-GT merupakan gagasan atau ide yang inovasi dan kreatif dari mahasiswa untuk menjawab suatu solusi atau memecahkan masalah di masyarakat. “Muaranya nanti ke Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Nasional (Pimnas),” ujarnya.

Sedangkan PKM-AI, lanjut Tommy, wujudnya adalah artikel ilmiah yang sumbernya dari kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan. Antara lain bisa dari PKM yang sudah didanai, dari kegiatan kelompok mahasiswa (PPL, PKL, magang), atau kegiatan-kegiatan ilmiah tertentu yang diselenggarakan oleh dosen pengampu jurusan, fakultas, atau Unnes. PKM terbaik muaranya ke jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Dikti.

“Kebijakan Rektor melalui PR III, Unnes juga mewadahi artikel-artikel mahasiswa yang bersumber dari PKM yang didanai sebagai penguatan iklim menulis akademik di kalangan mahasiswa. Telah dibuat jurnal karya emas mahasiswa dengan nama Cendikia yang terbit setahun dua kali, sejak tahun 2011. Ini selaras untuk menguatkan program Dikti, bahwa mahasiswa S1 harus membuat karya ilmiah sebagai syarat kelulusan,” katanya.

    output dari PKM-PKM ini bisa menjadi artikel di jurnal2x ilmiah yang baru saja dicanangkan..
    sehingga jurnal ilmiah tersebut dapat berubah dari telur dan menetas menjadi angsa berbulu indah.. dan tidak menjadi telur busuk yang gagal menetas..
