16 Dosen UNNES Terima Sertifikat Pendidik

Sebanyak 16 dosen Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menerima Sertifikat Pendidik. Penyerahan oleh Rektor Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum didampingi Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) Dr Abdurrahman MPd dan Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Profesi Guru dan Sertifikasi PPG Drs Agus Yuwono MPd MSi, Rabu (21/6) di Rektorat kampus Sekaran Gunungpati.

Agus Yuwono MPd MSi melaporkan tahun 2016 dosen UNNES yang diusulkan sebagai peserta sertifikasi sebanyak 28 orang, dari jumlah tersebut yang dinyatakan lolos 16 orang. Penyebab ketidak lolosan diantaranya sakit, studi lanjut di luar negeri, nilai gabungan tidak memenuhi skor minimal kelulusan, dan tidak bisa melengkapi diskripsi diri dengan lengkap.

Dengan bertambahnya jumlah dosen yang lolos sertifikasi tahun 2016 ini maka secara keseluruhan jumlah dosen UNNES yang telah tersertifikasi sebanyak 865 orang. Sedangkan yang belum tersertifikasi 162 orang. Pada tahun 2017 ini UNNES pada tahap pertama telah mengusulkan 23 dosen untuk mengikuti proses sertifikasi.

Rektor Prof Fathur Rokhman menyampaikan, setelah menerima sertifikat pendidik ini maka dosen yang bersangkutan disebut dosen profesional. Untuk itu menjadi dosen profesional harus mengerti dalam makna luas diantaranya mengerti tugas dosen, mengenal diri sendiri, dan bagaimana menjadi dosen profesional.

Dosen yang cepat memperoleh kualifikasi dan jabatan tertinggi disuatu lembaga yakni dosen yang profesional di tri darma perguruan tinggi dan berbasis riset. Kuncinya seorang dosen cepat menjadi profesor yakni melakukan penelitian, karena meneliti nilainya tinggi.

Untuk itu, mari semua dosen UNNES berlomba lomba untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi. Dengan meningkatnya kualifikasi UNNES bisa menjulang tinggi.
