Dosen PGPAUD Presentasi di Korea

Delegasi Jurusan PG-PAUD FIP sukses mempresentasikan paper mereka dalam ajang Konferensi Tahunan ke-14 Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (PECERA) di Ehwa Womans University, Seoul Korea. Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya (1/7/2013), di sela-sela safari ke FIP, Rektor resmi melepas delegasi FIP untuk mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.

“Delegasi kami mempresentasikan total 16 paper, termasuk paper Bapak Dekan yang berpartner dengan salah satu dosen. Dengan segala keterbatasan, Alhamdulillah semua lancar,” demikian Ketua Jurusan PGPAUD Edi Waluyo dari Seoul melaporkan kepada unnes.ac.id.

Edi menambahkan partisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut merupakan kesempatan untuk belajar dari sesama periset PAUD, sekaligus mengukur kapasitas dan posisi PGPAUD Unnes dan Indonesia pada umumnya. “Banyak yang harus kami pelajari dari para profesor PAUD yang hadir dalam forum ini. Untuk itu seperti diamanatkan Rektor saat pelepasan, kami menyiapkan tim khusus untuk memfasilitasi diskusi dan merintis kolaborasi dengan mereka”. Dua orang profesor dari Hong Kong Institute of Education, Sue Grieshaber dan Mindy Blaise, serta Professor Yu-Wei Lin dari PECERA menyatakan siap membantu capacity building jurusan PGPAUD di bidang riset, demikian Edi menambahkan.

Pelajaran dari Ehwa
Terpisah Dekan FIP Hardjono menambahkan, di luar konferensi, delegasi juga mendapatkan pelajaran berharga di Ehwa University. Seperti di Unnes, tampaknya tidak semua jenis kendaraan bisa bebas masuk ke kampus tersebut.

Lanskap kampus rangking 40 se-Asia ini menunjukkan harmoni yang baik antara seni, arsitektur, dan konservasi lingkungan. Para peserta konferensi pun harus berjalan kaki dari satu lokasi ke lokasi lain. “Untung kita sudah berkonservasi. Meskipun di sini kami merasa lebih lelah, sebab tanjakan dan tangga Ehwa lebih tinggi dari jalan dan tangga di Sekaran” gurau Hardjono seperti dituturkan Edi Waluyo.

Pelajaran lain menurut Dekan FIP tersebut adalah soal kepemimpinan perempuan. Ehwa sekarang merupakan universitas perempuan terbesar dunia. Dua hari ini di Ehwa dia mengaku menemukan sedikit laki-laki saja. Tapi dia merasakan suasana manajemen yang sangat efektif. Tentu saja hal itu juga menjadi pelajaran bagi lapangan PAUD yang sementara ini didominasi perempuan.
