11 Mahasiswa Bidik Misi Ber-IPK 4,0 Dapat Penghargaan

Sebanyak sebelas mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidik Misi berhasil meraih Indeks Prestasi Komulatif (IPK) 3,90 sampai dengan 4,00 mendapat penghargaan dari Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penghargaan itu diberikan saat upacara Hari Pendidikan Nasional Senin (2/5), di kampus Sekaran.

Menurut Rektor Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo, mereka yang mendapat penghargaan ini adalah khusus mahasiswa Bidik Misi angkatan I (2010) dan memiliki IPK excellent. Ke-11 mahasiswa ini juga mendapatkan uang pembinaan Rp1 juta untuk IPK 4.0 dan Rp750 ribu bagi yang memiliki IPK 3.90.

“Sebanyak 400 mahasiswa bidik misi Unnes setiap bulan mendapat biaya tambahan Rp600 ribu dan mereka bebas biaya kuliah karena berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu namun memiliki prestasi di atas rata-rata,” kata rektor.

Meski demikian, hingga kini masih ada 36 mahasiswa bidik misi yang memiliki IPK di bawah 3.0. Pihak universitaspun berinisiatif memberikan pendekatan, bimbingan dan dorongan kepada mahasiswa tersebut untuk dapat meningkatkan prestasinya.

Rektor menambahkan, jika di tahun 2010 pihaknya hanya mendapat alokasi jatah bidik misi 400 orang, di tahun 2011 sudah naik menjadi 450 orang. “Hanya saja kita siap jika memang Dikti hendak memberikan alokasi tambahan di atas angka tersebut,” tegasnya.

Penghargaan Lain
Selain mahasiswa bidik misi. Penghargaan juga diberikan kepada 8 dosen dari 8 fakultas yang masing-masing diambil 1 dosen. Pengahargaan ini berdasarkan atas kinerja dengan skor tertinggi 4,33. Masing-masing mendapatkan uang pembinaan sebesar Rp2 juta.

Penghargaan kategori dosen juga diberikan bagi yang berhasil memublikasikan/mempresentasikan karya ilmiah. Ada 27 dosen yang mendapatkan penghargaan. Untuk penulis utama tingkat internasional mendapatkan Rp5 juta, luar Asean Rp 3,5 juta, Asean Rp 2,5 juta, karya ilmiah nasional mendapat Rp1 juta, artikerl ilmiah popular nasional Rp250 ribu, dan artikel ilmiah popular lokal Rp150 ribu.

Pengahargaan lain juga diberikan pada program studi (Prodi) atas status/peringkat akreditasinya. Prodi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, S1 yang berhasil meningkatkan status akreditasi dari B ke A berhak mendapatkan penghargaan Rp10 juta. Kemudian disusul prodi pendidikan matematika (S1),  Pendidikan Ekonomi (S1), dan Biologi (S1) yang masing-masing berhasil mempertahankan status akreditasi A mendapatkan masing-masing Rp5 Juta.
