Puluhan Mahasiswa Ikuti Pembekalan Bahasa Inggris

Tak kurang dari 70 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) mengikuti pembekalan studi lanjut S2 ke luar negeri dan pelatihan International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Selasa (7/8) di gedung H Universitas Konservasi.

“Sepuluh peserta terbaik akan dibiayai test IELTS,” papar Pembantu Rektor Bidang Pengembangan dan Kerja Sama Unnes Prof Fathur Rokhman, saat membuka acara.

Menurut dia, pelatihan yang akan dilakukan sampai Sabtu (11/8) bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa Unnes melanjutkan studi ke luar negeri. “Oleh sebab itu, semua kegiatan harus diikuti peserta pelatihan, sehingga kita bisa meraih mimpi yang besar untuk memajukan bangsa,” katanya.

Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo mengatakan, Unnes sepenuhnya mendukung kegiatan ini untuk memajukan mahasiswa. “Mahasiswa yang sukses adalah mereka yang mau belajar saat musim liburan, oleh karenanya kesempatan ini jangan disia-siakan,” katanya.

    perlu ditingkatkan lagi program ini, sehingga banyak lulusan UNNES yang sekolah di luar negeri dan kembali lagi dengan membawa bekal untuk memajukan edukasi di Indonesia.

    tapi mau tanya. kelanjutan dari program ini apa ya? apakah hanya sekedar mendapat kesempatan test ielts gratis? atau sudah ada program beasiswa yang dipersiapkan bagi 10 org tsb? makasih

    Setelah 10 peserta terbaik mengikuti IELTS resmi yang dibiayai oleh Universitas dan nilainya baik serta mendapat Letter of Acceptance dari Universitas luar negeri maka Unnes akan memfasilitasi beasiswa luar negeri dengan skema yang ada.
