Pramuka Unnes Kemah Bakti Konservasi di Merapi

Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Pramuka Racana Wijaya Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) akan menyenggarakan Kemah Pramuka Bakti Merapi selama tiga hari, 3 – 5 juni 2011, di Desa Kalibening Kecamatan Dukun Kabupaten Magelang.

“Acara dikemas dalam bentuk kegiatan Bina Lingkungan, Bina Masyarakat, dan Bina Satuan. Sebanyak 130 orang pramuka akan menghijaukan Merapi dengan melibatkan 22 pembina dari Unnes, guru dan siswa SD/MI/MTs Kecamatan Dukun serta masyarakat sekitar,” kata Syaifur Rizqi Zein Ketua Sangga Kerja Kemah Pramuka Bakti Merapi.

Akan hadir pada pembukaan, Rektor Unnes Prof Sudijono Sastroatmodjo, Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik (PR I) Agus Wahyudin MSi, PR II Wahyono MM, PR III Prof Masrukhi, PR IV Prof Fathur Rohman, para dekan, pembantu dekan,  Direktur Pascasarjana, ketua kembaga, dan kepala biro.

Dari wilayah Magelang, direncanakan hadir pula Bupati Magelang, Kepala Dinas Pendidkan Pemuda dan Olahraga, Kepala UPT Disdikpora, Kapolsek, Camat Dukun, Kepala Desa Kalibening, dan tokoh masyarakat

Bina Lingkungan berupa konservasi lingkungan meliputi penanaman dan perawatan 2.500 bibit pohon jati, trembesi, jati kebon, dan sengon bekerja sama dengan Penerbat (Skadron 31 Serbu) Semarang, Dinas Kehutanan, dan Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Magelang.

Bina Masyarakat meliputi psycho educative, pemberdayaan taman bacaan masyarakat berupa pemberian sumbangan buku bacaan bekerja sama dengan Aneka Ilmu, dan pelatihan manajemen pengelolaan taman bacaan. Pelatihan Teknologi Tepat Guna (pelatihan pengelolaan pascapanen tomat, mentimun dan pembentukan home industry. Pelatihan Kewirausahaan berupa budi daya sapi dan ayam. Penyuluhan Kesadaran Hukum mencakupi hukum dan penyalahgunaan narkoba). Adapu bina satuan merupakan Latihan Gabungan untuk siaga dan penggalang tingkat (SD, MI, SMP, dan MTs).

Kegiatan tersebut berujuan untuk  menumbuhkan jiwa sosial dan kepedulian terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan melalui kegiatan bina lingkungan serta sebagai wadah pembentukan karakter, watak, disiplin, kemandirian dalam upaya pembinaan dan pengembangan generasi muda

Desa Kalibening Kecamatan Dukun, Kabupaten Magelang wilayahnya terdiri atas 9 dusun berpenduduk 897 keluarga yang terdiri atas 2.867 jiwa, berjarak 6,8 km dari puncak Merapi, merupakan sebagian desa yang tertimpa musibah erupsi dan lahar dingin Gunung Merapi.

Pada saat erupsi rumah roboh, pertanian gagal panen/puso, dan perikanan pun gagal. Dampak secara psikologis terjadi krisis pada warganya. Kondisi masyarakat desa tersebut sampai saat ini roda perekonomiannya masih memerlukan uluran tangan.

Gugus Depan Kota Semarang 14.111- 14.112 Unnes sebagai ujung tombak gerakan pramuka terpanggil untuk merealisasikan keinginan masyarakat Desa Kalibening tersebut.

Berdasarkan hasil diskusi tim survai dengan Kepala Desa Kalibening bahwa masyarakat Desa Kalibening masih memerlukan bibit tanaman untuk penghijauan seperti sengon, jabon (jati kebon), bibit pepaya untuk pertanian, pengelolaan pascapanen tomat dan mentimun, peningkatan pengelolaan peternakan sapi dan ayam, dan pemulihan semangat warga pascaerupsi.
