Singapura dan Malaysia menjadi tujuan yang menarik bagi Program Studi Magister Sekolah Pendidikan Dasar Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Pada tanggal 10 hingga 14 Juli 2023, kegiatan kuliah lapangan (field trip) tersebut diikuti oleh 52 peserta dari 4 rombongan belajar. Kegiatan ini dipandu langsung oleh Prof. Dr. Tri Joko Raharjo, M.Pd., selaku Koordinator Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Dasar, didampingi oleh dosen pendamping Farid Ahmadi S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D. dan Dr. Bambang Subali M.Pd.

Kunjungan pertama dilakukan di Sekolah Indonesia Singapura (SIS) Ltd. pada tanggal 11 Juli 2023. Kepala Sekolah, Yenny Dwi Maria, M.Ed., menyambut langsung rombongan dari UNNES. Yenny Dwi Maria menjelaskan bahwa SIS bertujuan untuk menyediakan pendidikan bagi anak-anak warga negara Indonesia yang tinggal di Singapura. Kerja sama yang terjalin antara Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) dan SIS Ltd. diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi kemajuan pendidikan dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan.

Salah satu bentuk kolaborasi yang diupayakan adalah dalam bidang riset. Dengan melakukan penelitian bersama, kedua belah pihak dapat saling memanfaatkan keahlian dan fasilitas yang dimiliki untuk menggali berbagai isu penting dan menghasilkan solusi inovatif. Selain itu, kerja sama ini dapat memungkinkan pertukaran pengalaman antara mahasiswa dan dosen dari UNNES dan SIS melalui program praktek mengajar. Dengan berbagi pengetahuan di berbagai lingkungan akademik, mahasiswa dapat memperluas wawasan mereka dalam bidang pengajaran. Tidak hanya itu, kolaborasi ini juga dapat melibatkan penyelenggaraan pelatihan dan workshop bersama guna meningkatkan kompetensi dosen, peneliti, dan staf dari kedua institusi.

Kunjungan berikutnya dilakukan di Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL) pada tanggal 13 Juli 2023. Kepala Sekolah, Friny Napasti, S.Pd., M.Pd., menyampaikan bahwa SIKL memiliki peran strategis sebagai garda terdepan diplomasi pendidikan Indonesia di Malaysia, dengan berlandaskan pada Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Kegiatan kuliah lapangan ini memberikan kesempatan berharga bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Sekolah Pendidikan Dasar UNNES untuk melihat dan mempelajari langsung tentang sistem pendidikan di luar negeri. Kunjungan SIKL memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang bagaimana sekolah-sekolah tersebut berhasil mencapai visi dan misi mereka dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda yang berkualitas dan berkompeten. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan para peserta dapat mengembangkan pemahaman dan keterampilan profesionalisme dalam bidang pendidikan dasar.
