Surabaya, January 27–29, 2026 — Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) hosted the 6th National Meeting of the Quality Assurance Network (JPM) of State Universities with Legal Entity Status (PTN-BH) 2026, held at the 11th Floor Auditorium of the Rectorate Building, UNESA Campus 2, Lidah Wetan, Surabaya.
The national meeting was attended by leaders and quality assurance teams from 23 PTN-BH across Indonesia. This forum served as a strategic platform to strengthen collaboration, align perspectives, and enhance the quality assurance governance of higher education institutions, particularly in meeting the mandatory requirements for “Excellent” accreditation and preparing for Institutional Accreditation (APT).
The series of activities began on Tuesday (January 27) with participant registration and institutional data preparation related to accreditation requirements. On Wednesday (January 28), the agenda continued with a Socialization Session on BAN-PT Regulation Number 35 of 2025, delivered by Prof. Ari Purbayanto, Ph.D., followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the mandatory requirements for Excellent Accreditation of PTN-BH, facilitated by Prof. Dr. Slamet Wahyudi, S.T., M.T.
In addition to in-depth discussions, the forum produced a joint agreement formulated in a draft letter addressed to BAN-PT. The letter was collectively signed by representatives of PTN-BH as a shared commitment to strengthening the national quality assurance system.
The 6th National Meeting of the PTN-BH Quality Assurance Network concluded on Thursday (January 29) with a follow-up FGD focusing on preparations for Institutional Accreditation (APT). Through this forum, UNESA reaffirmed its role as a coordinating hub and a driving force in fostering a culture of quality, while also strengthening collaboration among state universities with legal entity status in Indonesia.
