Semarang, January 26, 2026 — Semarang State University (UNNES) held the 2026 University Working Meeting (RKU) as a strategic forum to align the university’s policies, programs, and performance targets for the current year. The event took place in the UNNES Rectorate Meeting Room and was attended by university leaders, vice rectors, heads of institutions, and heads of work units.
The 2026 RKU began with an official opening, singing the Indonesian national anthem and the UNNES March, a prayer, and a report from the committee chair. The UNNES Chancellor then delivered general directions for 2026 policies and programs to guide the implementation of academic and non-academic activities across all work units. The launch of the 61st UNNES Anniversary PIN (Pin Dies Natalis) was also held on the same occasion, marking the start of a series of activities commemorating the university’s anniversary.
The meeting continued with a presentation of the 2026 strategy and performance achievements, covering four main areas: Academic and Student Affairs, Planning, General Affairs, Human Resources and Finance, Research, Innovation and Information Systems, and Cooperation, Business and International Relations. The presentations were delivered by each Vice Rector and moderated by Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si.
The peak of the 2026 RKU activities was marked by the signing of the Performance Agreement (PK) and the submission of the 2026 Work Unit Budget Implementation List (DPA-UK). This signing is a form of commitment from work unit leaders to realizing accountable, transparent governance that is oriented towards achieving university performance targets.
Through the 2026 University Working Meeting, UNNES affirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of governance, institutional performance, and the quality of higher education services to support the achievement of UNNES’s vision as a world-class university with a conservation perspective.
