SEMARANG – Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menerima belasan mahasiswa dari Universiti Malaya dalam program pertukaran mahasiswa (student exchange), Kamis 19 Februari 2026. Kelas perdana ini menjadi ajang bagi para mahasiswa Malaysia untuk mendalami urgensi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) dan supervisi dalam konteks bimbingan dan konseling.

Program student exchange merupakan serangkaian kegiatan FIPP International Forum 2026 hasil kolaborasi antara FIPP UNNES, Universiti Malaysia dan UIN Salatiga.

Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan FIPP UNNES, Farid Ahmadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., menjelaskan bahwa program ini merupakan langkah strategis untuk memperluas eksposur FIPP UNNES di kancah global. Selain pengalaman akademik, mahasiswa peserta program juga mendapatkan kepastian rekognisi nilai.

“Hari ini mahasiswa Universiti Malaya mengikuti kuliah offline, yang nantinya akan dilanjutkan dengan pertemuan online. Mata kuliah yang mereka ambil di sini akan diakui oleh kampus asal melalui skema transfer kredit. Kita sudah bisa langsung memberikan penilaian,” ujar Farid.

Selain mahasiswa dari Universiti Malaya, sejumlah mahasiswa pascasarjana di lingkungan FIPP juga ikut serta.

Perkuliahan tatap muka tersebut berlangsung di smart classroom Gedung A3 FIPP UNNES. Sesi ini dipandu oleh tim pakar yang terdiri dari Prof. Dr. Awalya, M.Pd., Kons., Dr. Ernest Ceti Septyanti, M.Si., Dr. Binti Isrofin, M.Pd., dan Dr. Ipah Saripah, M.Pd.

Dalam paparannya, tim dosen menekankan pergeseran paradigma dalam dunia manajemen. Mahasiswa diajak meninggalkan pola lama yang memandang manusia hanya sebagai alat produksi. Sebaliknya, evolusi konsep SDM saat ini telah menempatkan martabat manusia dan prinsip keberlanjutan sebagai pusat kebijakan organisasi.

Diskusi menjadi semakin dinamis saat membahas pendekatan berbasis kekuatan (strength-based). Para mahasiswa Universiti Malaya mendalami bagaimana identifikasi potensi individu menjadi kunci utama membangun organisasi yang sehat, alih-alih hanya berfokus pada perbaikan kekurangan. Pendekatan ini dinilai sangat relevan bagi calon doktor bimbingan dan konseling dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang inklusif.

Lebih jauh, materi tersebut menggarisbawahi bahwa investasi pada manusia bukan sekadar urusan administratif, melainkan seni menyelaraskan tujuan organisasi dengan kesejahteraan mental. Inovasi institusi pendidikan sangat bergantung pada kemampuan memperlakukan modal manusia sebagai mitra strategis yang bermartabat.

Melalui kolaborasi ini, FIPP UNNES mempertegas komitmennya dalam menjalin jejaring internasional sekaligus memberikan wawasan manajemen modern yang humanis. Kegiatan ini diharapkan tidak hanya memperkaya cakrawala akademik mahasiswa Universiti Malaya, tetapi juga mempererat hubungan bilateral kedua universitas dalam pengembangan ilmu kependidikan di Asia Tenggara.

Melalui pengenalan paradigma manajemen yang memanusiakan manusia, program ini berkontribusi nyata pada pencapaian SDGs No. 8 terkait pekerjaan layak serta SDGs No. 4 melalui peningkatan mutu pendidikan tinggi yang adaptif terhadap standar global.
