Semarang – Tim peneliti dari Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melaksanakan diseminasi luaran penelitian sekaligus kegiatan visiting lecturer bertajuk “Shaping Career Paths: How Interpersonal and Personal Factors Influence Vocational Identity in Emerging Adulthood?” Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada 3 Juli 2025 di PT Laksana, Ungaran, dengan menyasar para mahasiswa magang sebagai peserta utama.

Tim penelitian ini diketuai oleh Rahmawati Prihastuty, S.Psi., M.Si., dengan anggota yang terdiri dari Siti Nuzulia, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Yogi Swaraswati, S.Psi., M.Si., Talitha Lintang Pratiwi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Dr. Wulan Aulia Azizah, M.Pd., dan Dyah Ayu Rahmawati, S.Psi., M.A.

Dalam paparannya, Rahmawati Prihastuty menekankan pentingnya masa emerging adulthood (dewasa awal) sebagai fase krusial dalam pembentukan identitas vokasional. Ia menjelaskan bahwa karier masa depan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga sinergi antara faktor internal dan dukungan lingkungan.

Kegiatan ini merupakan langkah nyata FIPP UNNES dalam mendukung Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya poin ke-8 mengenai Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Dengan membantu mahasiswa memantapkan identitas vokasionalnya, universitas berperan dalam menyiapkan tenaga kerja yang kompeten, percaya diri, dan siap berkontribusi pada produktivitas ekonomi nasional secara sehat dan berkelanjutan.

Pihak PT Laksana menyambut baik inisiatif akademisi dalam menjembatani teori psikologi dengan praktik nyata di dunia industri.

“Kami sangat mengapresiasi kehadiran tim peneliti FIPP UNNES. Materi ini sangat relevan bagi mahasiswa magang kami yang sedang bertransisi dari dunia kampus ke dunia kerja. Memahami identitas diri sejak dini akan membantu mereka menjadi SDM yang lebih tangguh dan memiliki visi yang jelas dalam bekerja,” ungkap Agung Ridho Cahyono, M.M., perwakilan dari PT Laksana.

Sebagai bentuk komitmen keberlanjutan antara dunia pendidikan dan industri, kegiatan ini diakhiri dengan penandatanganan Implementation of Agreement (IA). Dokumen ini menandai kesepakatan kedua belah pihak untuk terus bersinergi dalam pengembangan riset, pengabdian masyarakat, dan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui program-program strategis di masa depan.

Supporting SDG 8, FIPP UNNES Bolsters Student Interns’ Vocational Identity at PT Laksana

SEMARANG – A research team from the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) conducted a dissemination of research findings alongside a visiting lecturer program titled “Shaping Career Paths: How Interpersonal and Personal Factors Influence Vocational Identity in Emerging Adulthood?” The event took place on July 3, 2025, at PT Laksana, Ungaran, specifically targeting internship students as the primary participants.

The research team is led by Rahmawati Prihastuty, S.Psi., M.Si., with members including Siti Nuzulia, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Yogi Swaraswati, S.Psi., M.Si., Talitha Lintang Pratiwi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Dr. Wulan Aulia Azizah, M.Pd., and Dyah Ayu Rahmawati, S.Psi., M.A.

During her presentation, Rahmawati Prihastuty emphasized the significance of the emerging adulthood phase as a critical period for forming vocational identity. She explained that a future career is determined not only by technical skills but also by the synergy between internal factors and environmental support.

This activity represents a concrete step by FIPP UNNES in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By assisting students in solidifying their vocational identity, the university plays a vital role in preparing a competent, confident workforce ready to contribute to national economic productivity healthily and sustainably.

PT Laksana warmly welcomed the academic initiative to bridge psychological theory with practical application in the industrial world.

“We highly appreciate the presence of the FIPP UNNES research team. This material is extremely relevant for our interns who are currently transitioning from campus life to the professional world. Understanding one’s identity early on will help them become more resilient human resources with a clear vision in their work,” expressed Agung Ridho Cahyono, M.M., representative of PT Laksana.

As a form of long-term commitment between the world of education and industry, the event concluded with the signing of an Implementation of Agreement (IA). This document marks an agreement between the parties to continue collaborating on research development, community service, and enhancing human resource quality through strategic programs in the future.
