Semarang, 24 Mei 2025 – Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) menyelenggarakan kuliah umum bertema “Bekerja Cerdas, Dinilai Tepat: Menavigasi Dunia Penilaian Kinerja” bagi mahasiswa semester 4 dalam mata kuliah Psikologi Industri dan Organisasi (PIO). Acara ini menghadirkan narasumber Tita Prastiwi, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog, seorang praktisi berpengalaman di bidang pengembangan SDM dan psikologi organisasi.

Diselenggarakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting mulai pukul 08.00 WIB, kegiatan ini sukses menarik perhatian mahasiswa yang ingin memahami lebih dalam dunia kerja profesional, khususnya bagaimana proses penilaian kinerja dilakukan dan dimaknai secara strategis.

Dalam pemaparannya, Bu Tita menekankan bahwa penilaian kinerja bukan hanya sekadar menilai hasil kerja, tetapi menjadi dasar penting untuk:

  • Mengevaluasi apakah performa karyawan sesuai standar
  • Menentukan program pelatihan dan pengembangan
  • Memberikan coaching dan mentoring
  • Menjadi dasar promosi, rotasi, mutasi, atau placement

Penilaian ini harus dilakukan secara objektif, transparan, berbasis data, dan disertai feedback dua arah yang membangun.

Selain itu, Bu Tita menekankan pentingnya menyelaraskan seluruh proses penilaian dengan visi dan misi organisasi. Penilaian yang baik didasarkan pada kompetensi yang bisa dikembangkan, seperti kepemimpinan, teamwork, dan pengambilan keputusan, bukan hanya kemampuan bawaan atau potensial. 

Mahasiswa juga dikenalkan dengan alat-alat yang sering digunakan dalam manajemen SDM modern, seperti:

  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI): Indikator keberhasilan kerja yang bisa diukur secara objektif, diturunkan dari target bisnis organisasi.
  • Skill Matrix: Alat visual untuk memetakan keterampilan individu dalam sebuah tim, membantu manajemen dalam pembagian tugas, pelatihan, dan evaluasi.

Proses penilaian kinerja yang ideal terdiri dari delapan tahapan mulai dari penentuan indikator, penyusunan sistem, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, monitoring, evaluasi, pelaporan hingga tindak lanjut. Dengan struktur yang rapi dan terstandarisasi, organisasi bisa menghindari penilaian yang subjektif dan tidak adil.

Kuliah umum ini berlangsung dalam suasana yang menyenangkan dan penuh diskusi. Para mahasiswa terlihat antusias menyimak dan terlibat aktif dalam sesi tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan terasa sangat dekat dengan kenyataan dunia kerja yang akan mereka hadapi setelah lulus.

Kuliah umum ini menjadi wujud nyata komitmen Program Studi Psikologi UNNES dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja, dengan pembekalan ilmu yang aplikatif dan relevan. Diharapkan kegiatan serupa terus diadakan untuk menjembatani teori akademik dengan praktik nyata di lapangan, khususnya dalam bidang Psikologi Industri dan Organisasi.
