Dosen UNNES Latih Guru SD Manfaatkan Kecerdasan Buatan untuk Bahan Ajar

SEMARANG, BABAD.ID | Stori Loka Jawa – Sepuluh guru beserta kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sambirejo 02, Semarang, mengikuti pelatihan pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence atau AI) untuk pengembangan bahan ajar. Kegiatan ini diinisiasi oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) untuk menjawab tantangan pengajaran di era digital.

Workshop bertajuk “AI-Based Teaching Material” yang digelar pada Sabtu, 19 Juli 2025 ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital para pendidik. Tim dosen dari Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) UNNES, memandu langsung para peserta.

Ketua tim pengabdian, Indra Simanungkalit, M.Pd., menyatakan bahwa penguasaan teknologi seperti AI kini menjadi kebutuhan bagi guru. “Kami memperkenalkan konsep dasar AI, manfaat praktisnya, hingga demonstrasi pembuatan bahan ajar seperti video pembelajaran menggunakan platform AI,” kata Indra di sela-sela kegiatan.

Dalam pelatihan tersebut, para peserta tampak antusias mengikuti setiap sesi. Respons positif terlihat, terutama saat sesi praktik langsung di mana para guru mencoba secara mandiri membuat konten pembelajaran dengan teknologi AI. Pihak sekolah menyambut baik inisiatif yang dianggap relevan dengan tuntutan zaman ini.

Kegiatan ini didukung penuh oleh tim dosen yang terdiri dari Indra Simanungkalit, M.Pd., Tri Astuti, M.Pd., Khairul Arifin, M.Pd., Basuki Sulistio, S.Pd., M.Pd., dan Christian Arief Jaya, S.Pd., M.Pd., serta dibantu oleh tiga mahasiswa FIPP UNNES.

ndra berharap, pelatihan ini menjadi pemicu bagi para guru untuk terus berinovasi. “Harapannya, ilmu dan keterampilan ini dapat langsung diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kemampuan literasi digital di SD Sambirejo 02 secara berkelanjutan,” ujarnya.***
