Semarang — Banjir bukan hanya meninggalkan jejak kerusakan fisik, tetapi juga menorehkan dampak psikologis yang mendalam, terutama bagi anak-anak. Menyadari pentingnya pemahaman terhadap ketahanan mental siswa di wilayah rawan bencana, tim peneliti dari Prodi BK Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melaksanakan riset bertema “Eksplorasi Resiliensi Siswa Sekolah Dasar Penyintas Bencana Banjir di Kota Semarang”.

Penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua hari, pada 18–19 Juni 2025, berlokasi di SD Negeri Supriyadi 02, Kecamatan Tlogosari, Kota Semarang, wilayah yang dikenal kerap terdampak banjir tahunan. Dengan menggandeng pihak sekolah sebagai mitra, tim peneliti menyasar siswa sekolah dasar sebagai kelompok populasi penting untuk memahami dinamika resiliensi sejak usia dini.

Pengambilan data kuantitatif.

Kegiatan hari pertama difokuskan pada pengambilan data kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan angket resiliensi kepada 100 siswa kelas atas (kelas 4 & 5). Sementara di hari kedua, tim menggali secara lebih mendalam melalui wawancara kualitatif terhadap 20 siswa terpilih yang mewakili latar belakang dan pengalaman berbeda dalam menghadapi bencana banjir.

Menurut Firdian Setiya Arinata, S.Pd., M.Pd., ketua tim sekaligus dosen Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling UNNES, “Resiliensi bukan sesuatu yang langsung terbentuk. Kami ingin melihat bagaimana pengalaman banjir memengaruhi ketahanan mental siswa—apakah mereka mampu bangkit, beradaptasi, dan tetap berkembang secara positif.”

Tim ini melibatkan akademisi lintas jenjang dengan keahlian di bidang konseling dan psikologi pendidikan. Adapun susunan tim peneliti sebagai berikut:

Kegiatan ini juga mendapatkan sambutan hangat dari pihak sekolah. Kepala SD Negeri Supriyadi 02, Karsono, S.Pd.,M.Pd. yang turut memfasilitasi penuh kegiatan, menyampaikan harapan agar hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu sekolah dalam merancang intervensi psikososial bagi siswa yang pernah mengalami trauma bencana.

“Anak-anak korban banjir mungkin terlihat biasa saja, tetapi secara emosional bisa jadi mereka memikul pengalaman traumatis. Dengan penelitian ini, kita bisa mendesain program yang sesuai kebutuhan mereka,” ungkap salah satu guru pembimbing kegiatan.

Penelitian ini didanai oleh DPA LPPM UNNES tahun 2025 dan menjadi bagian dari misi tridarma perguruan tinggi, khususnya dalam mendukung pemulihan dan penguatan ketahanan psikologis masyarakat terdampak bencana.

Diharapkan, hasil riset ini tidak hanya memberi kontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu, tetapi juga memberikan rekomendasi aplikatif bagi pemerintah, sekolah, dan lembaga terkait dalam menangani dampak psikologis bencana pada anak-anak. Terlebih, di tengah peningkatan risiko iklim ekstrem, ketangguhan mental generasi muda menjadi bekal penting untuk masa depan yang lebih tangguh.
