Dekan dan Wakil Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan LPTK Negeri Se-Indonesia menyelenggarakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan tema “Revitalisasi LPTK Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045” yang dilaksanakan di Hotel Ciputra Semarang. Acara ini menghadirkan narasumber dari Direktorat Pendidikan Profesi Guru, Direktorat Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan, Kemendikbud Ristek, yaitu Dr. Sigit Wibowo dan Apriyagung, S.S., M.Hum, Ph.D.

Kegiatan ini dibuka oleh Sekretaris Universitas Negeri Semarang, Prof. Dr. Sugiyanto, M.Si. Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Sugiyanto menekankan pentingnya LPTK untuk berbenah dan berperan aktif dalam mewarnai pendidikan menuju Indonesia Emas 2045. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah tercapainya kesepakatan strategi pendidikan yang konstruktif, termasuk pengembangan LPTK, peluang dan tantangan di era digital, kebijakan Merdeka Belajar di LPTK, revitalisasi kelembagaan, tata kelola LPTK, standar kurikulum pendidikan inklusif, serta transformasi guru di abad ke-21. Prof. Sugiyanto juga menekankan pentingnya PPG sebagai tempat penyiapan dan pembinaan guru yang siap memenuhi standarisasi di level ASEAN dan Asia. 

Dr. Sigit Wibowo menjelaskan bahwa calon guru profesional hanya bisa dicetak oleh LPTK melalui pendidikan pre-service, in-service, dan post-service. Guru wajib memiliki kualifikasi akademik, kompetensi, sertifikat pendidik, kesehatan jasmani dan rohani, serta kemampuan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Sertifikasi pendidik diselenggarakan oleh perguruan tinggi yang memiliki program pengadaan tenaga kependidikan yang terakreditasi dan ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah. Pada akhir paparannya, Dr. Sigit menekankan bahwa transformasi pendidikan profesi guru adalah kunci untuk menghasilkan guru berkualitas yang fokus pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. 

Apriyagung, S.S., M.Hum, Ph.D., sebagai pemantik diskusi, menyampaikan bahwa transformasi PPG meliputi penguatan kompetensi dosen dan guru pamong dalam literasi dan numerasi (micro credential), penguatan kompetensi dosen dan manajerial LPTK untuk berwawasan dan berjejaring global (konsorsium pendidikan guru), serta peningkatan koordinasi dan kolaborasi pemangku kepentingan untuk pemenuhan guru berkualitas (konsorsium pendidikan daerah). Konsorsium pendidikan daerah diharapkan dapat mendorong terbentuknya ekosistem pendidikan yang berkelanjutan sesuai dengan kapasitas dan kebutuhan masing-masing daerah. 

Sebagai hasil akhir FGD, dekan dan wakil dekan FIP LPTK se-Indonesia membuat rekomendasi terutama dalam Program Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) yang terintegrasi dengan Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru Pra Jabatan, yang akan disampaikan kepada Direktorat Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan, Kemendikbud Ristek.
