The Directorate of Information Systems and Public Relations of Universitas Negeri Semarang (DSIH UNNES) held a Work Meeting to support the work program’s acceleration on Thursday (2/1/2024). The meeting aims to strengthen coordination, evaluation, and preparation strategies for implementing future work programs.

The meeting, which took place at the Atria Hotel Magelang, became an essential forum for the Directorate of Information Systems and Public Relations to align goals and discuss strategic steps in supporting the achievement of UNNES’ vision and mission.

One of the essential agendas in the meeting was the discussion of achievements and performance evaluations and preparing an action plan to optimize information and public relations system services. DSIH UNNES is committed to continuing to present service innovations related to information systems and public relations to strengthen the positive image of UNNES in the eyes of the public.

The director of the Directorate of Information Systems and Public Relations, Mona Subagja, S.Pd., M.Kom., hopes the meeting can provide a deeper understanding of the existing challenges and opportunities.

“The strategic steps resulting from this meeting will be the foundation for us in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing the work program in the future,” he said.

In his remarks, the Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between directorates at UNNES to achieve mutual success.

The professor also highlighted the importance of integrating information technology in supporting various aspects of campus life. He emphasized that innovation in information systems accelerates internal processes and creates a better experience for students and all related parties.

“With technological advancements, we must continue to adapt and use it best. A reliable information system will help the efficiency of administration, learning, and interaction with stakeholders,” he added.

This work meeting is a forum for employees to convey constructive ideas that can improve the quality of service. With a collaborative spirit, the Directorate of Information Systems and Public Relations of UNNES is expected to be at the forefront of providing accurate, fast, and reliable information.

The activity was closed with the handover of the book “An Ultimate Guide: How to Get into UNNES” from the Director of DSIH to the Rector of UNNES. The manual book is one of the UNNES promotional media that contains information about the new student admission process, available study programs, campus facilities, and other advantages UNNES has.
