
Semarang, July 28, 2025 – BOAB UNNES once again served as a reference center for improving healthcare service quality. This time, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) conducted a benchmarking visit to BOAB UNNES to study the management and clinical service systems of PUSLAKES UNNES. The event took place on Friday, July 25, 2025, in the Cempaka Room, Entrepreneurship Building at UNNES, and was attended by the Head of BOAB UNNES and the Head of BPU UNESA along with their teams.
Dr. Moh Solehatul Mustofa, M.A., Head of BOAB UNNES, warmly welcomed Mahendra Wardhana, S.H., M.Kn., Head of BPU UNESA. “We hope this discussion will bring mutual benefit and strengthen the bonds of collaboration,” said Dr. Mustofa in his opening remarks.
The Manager of PUSLAKES UNNES, dr. A. Setyo Wahyuningsih, M.Kes., delivered a presentation on clinical management and service systems, especially the collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan. This partnership aims to integrate health services with the university’s Tridharma (three pillars of higher education) and includes a variety of services supported by BPJS Kesehatan. In addition to this, PUSLAKES UNNES also collaborates with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to organize annual drug testing for new students and conduct medical check-ups for incoming UNNES students.
BPU UNESA expressed strong interest in BOAB UNNES due to its rapid development in entrepreneurship and business, particularly in the management and operation of clinical services, which are considered effective in boosting the university’s Income Generating (IG) efforts.
This benchmarking activity is expected to contribute to the advancement of clinical management systems at UNESA.
The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where the BPU UNESA team discussed in greater depth the implementation of clinical service systems at UNNES.
Mahendra Wardhana expressed hopes that the insights gained from this visit can soon be implemented and bring positive outcomes for both institutions. The BPU UNESA team also toured the PUSLAKES Clinic and UNNES Pharmacy, which is a new facility located near the pond area of the Faculty of Languages and Arts at UNNES, designed as the university’s new Health Service Center.
