BPB UNNES Semarang – The UNNES Business Development Agency (BPB) said that in order to improve order and security in the UNNES KWU building, the parking area of the KWU building will be subject to tariffs. Previously, on February 16, 2022, a coordination meeting was held between BPB, BUHK, Posh Parking, and all tenants in the KWU UNNES building regarding the implementation of the parking policy in the KWU building for security and mutual order. At this meeting all tenants welcomed and submitted various suggestions so that the plan could run even better.
The tenant proposal received a good response from BPB by holding a follow-up meeting on February 18 2022. With this in mind, a decision was issued on February 21 2022 regarding the management of parking security for the KWU UNNES building. Every tenant has the right to get free parking for his vehicle. In addition, vehicles that enter the parking area for less than 10 minutes (shuttle vehicles) are exempt from payment.
The implementation of this paid parking will come into force on March 1, 2022. All public visitors outside the provisions will be charged a parking fee of Rp. 1,000 for motorbikes and Rp. 2,000 for the car in the first hour.
In the next hour up to 6 hours a tariff of Rp. 2,000 for motorbikes and Rp. 3,000 for the car. While parking over 6 hours to 12 hours is subject to Rp. 4,000 for motorbikes and Rp. 8,000 for the car. As for parking up to 24 hours, a tariff of Rp. 5,000 for motorbikes and Rp 10,000 for cars. However, if the parking membership is subject to a monthly rate of Rp. 35,000 for motorbikes and Rp. 70,000 for the car.
This notification was conveyed by the Head of the UNNES Business Development Agency (BPB) Dr. Amir Mahmud, S. Pd., M. Si. to all tenants and will then start socializing it to the academic community until it takes effect on March 1, 2022. In addition, it is also conveyed that with this policy it is hoped that all tenants, the academic community and the public who visit the building of the entrepreneurial activity center at UNNES will feel calm, orderly, comfortable and safe considering that the KWU building has become a place that all visitors can enjoy.
