Melalui Tari, Berkreasi Menembus Dunia

FBS (Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni) menjadi pusat pertunjukan segala macam tari, Rabu (29/4). Tepat pukul 06.00 WIB, sepuluh mahasiswa Program Studi Tari mulai gemulai menari mengikuti alunan musik di halaman FBS. Mereka akan menari selama 18 jam hingga pukul 24.00 WIB.

Ketua Panitia, Moh Hasan Bisri MSn, mengatakan selain 18 jam menari, 120 jenis tari disajikan dan sekitar 1.200 penari ikut memeriahkan peringatan hari tari dunia yang digelar Unnes untuk yang kedua kalinya.

Penyelenggara merangkul sanggar dan sekolah yang ada di Jawa Tengah untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam acara ini. “Semangat menari harus terus dilestarikan, untuk itu panitia mengajak sanggar-sanggar tari dan sekolah di Jawa Tengah dalam gelaran ini, agar kecintaan terhadap seni tari tumbuh dan berkembang,” ungkap Hasan Basri.

Wali Kota Semarang, Hendrar Prihadi, dalam sambutannya yang dibacakan oleh Masdiana selaku Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, mengucapkan terima kasih dan mengapresiasi Unnes yang telah mempunyai kepedulian untuk melestarikan dan meningkatkan kreativitas seni budaya, khususnya seni tari. Kegiatan-kegiatan seni yang digagas Unnes sangat membantu Kota Semarang dalam mengembangkan Semarang sebagai kota tujuan wisata.

Rektor Unnes, Prof Dr Fathur Rokhman MHum mengungkapkan sejak tahun 1982 Badan Dunia PBB untuk Pendidikan, Keilmuan, dan Kebudayaan (UNESCO) telah menetapkan tanggal 29 April sebagai World Dance Day. Unnes sebagai universitas konservasi akan terus nguri-uri seni budaya dan berupaya mengemas secara kreatif. “Dengan terus menerus melakukan aktivitas, kreativitas, dan inovasi seni, Unnes akan mewarnai dunia,” katanya.

Kegiatan yang dimotori oleh Jurusan Seni Drama Tari dan Musik (Sendratasik) ini sebagai upaya perwujudan nyata konservasi budaya di Unnes.
