Fakta dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa untuk mempublikasikan hasil suatu pemelitian di seminar hampir tidak ditemukan kendala. Sebaliknya untuk publikasi di jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi memerlukan waktu yang panjang dimulai dari pengiriman sampai paper diterbitkan. Tidak sedikit, paper dikembalikan karena sesuatu hal yang menyangkut isi dan format penulisan. Berdasarkan pengalaman tersebut, Program Pascasarjana Unnes bermaksud mengadakan seminar publikasi ilmiah hasil penelitian.
