Rabu Pon, 18 Juli 2012.Apresiasi seni tari sebagai salah satu wahana untuk menumbuhkan sikap, menghargai, memahami, menikmati seni serta merangsang kemampuan kreasi, melalui kegiatan seni dan pengalaman estetik dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Apresiasi seni tari Nusantrara daerah setempat menjadi materi yang harus di pertahankan karena karya seni tari nusantara daerah setempat menjadi ciri khas seni daerah.
Standar kompetensi pembelajaran seni tari di Sekolah Dasar khususnya apresiasi seni tari Nusantara daerah setempat tidak berjalan sesuai dengan harapan, hal ini dikarenakan kapasitas guru yang tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan seni tari secara khusus menyebabkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan seni tari tidak optimal, hal ini disampaikan Wahira, dosen FIP Universitas Negeri Makasar di depan tim penguji yang terdiri dari Promotor  Prof. Dr. Joko Widodo, M.Pd, kopromotor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jazuli, M.Hum dan Prof. Dr. Totok Sumaryanto, M.Pd.
Dalam penelitain “Pengembangan Model Pelatihan Apresiasi Seni Tari Nusantara Daerah Setempat Pada Guru Sekolah Dasar di Makasar”, Wahira menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development ( R & D) dengan responden guru Sekolah Dasar di Makasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pelatihan ASTNDS hasil pengembangan mampu meningkatkan keefektifan pelatihan apresiasi seni tari .
Wahira , anak pertama dari pasangan H. Baso Siruwa dan Hj. Halijah dinyatakan lulus oleh tim penguji dengan predikat Dengan Pujian, masa studi 2 tahun 11 bulan, sebagai Doktor ke 111 lulusan Unnes dan doctor ke 83 lulusan prodi Manajemen Kependidikan Unnes.The appreciation of the art of dance as a media to foster an attitude, respect, understanding, enjoying the arts and stimulate the creation, through art and aesthetic experience in their daily lives. Appreciation of local dance should be maintained as the symbol of local value through Indonesia.

The Standard of Competence of dance lessons at Primary School is not running based on the expectation before. This is because of the quality of teachers who do not have an educational background of local dances themselves, explained Wahira, the lecturer of Makasar State University in his opene examination which was examined by:

  1. Promoter: Prof. Dr. Joko Widodo, M Ed,
  2. Vice promoter: Prof  Dr. Muhammad Jazuli, and Prof. M. Hum. Dr. Totok Sumaryanto, M.Pd.

In the study “Development of a Model Training Nusantara Dance Appreciation Locally At Primary School Teachers in Makassar”, Wahira research methods is  Research and Development (R & D) approach to the respondent elementary school teacher in Macassar. The results showed that the model of development outcomes ASTNDS training can improve training effectiveness appreciation of the art of dance.

Wahira, the first child of the couple H. Baso Siruwa and Hj. Halijah passed by a team of testers with predicate With Compliments, 2-year study period of 11 months, as the 111st graduates Doctor from Unnes and 83th graduate of doctoral study programs from Unnes Personnel Management Doctoral Program.
