Selasa kliwon, 10 Juli 2012, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan ,pelatihan, pengasuhan, dan kepemimpinan terhadap karakter polisi sipil. Demikian yang disampaikan Subagyo di depan  tim penguji Ujian Promosi Doktor Pendidikan yang terdiri dari  Promotor: Prof. Dr. Maman Rachman, M.Sc., Ko-Promotor Prof.Dr. Yusriadi, S.H., M.S. Anggota: Dr. Etty Soesilowati. Selanjutnya disampaikan pula tujuan penelitian ditujukan untuk menemukan model  pendidikan Taruna Akademi Kepolisian yang fit dalam membangun karekter polisi sipil. Penelitian “Model Pendidikan Taruna Akademi Kepolisian sebagai Pembangun Karakter Polisi Sipil” dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM) alternative dengan Partial Least Square ( PLS). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh taruna akademi Kepolisian angkatan 44, sebanyak 326 taruna. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 180 Taruna diambil dari populasi dengan teknik random sampling. Di depan tim penguji , Subagyo dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Unnes mengatakan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh konstruk pendidikan sebesar 55,5 %, Konstruk pelatihan 27,9%, Konstruk pengasuh 4%, dan konstruk kepemimpinan 16,6 % terhadap karakter sipil. Berdasarkan analisis. Model teoretik yang diuji ternyata belum fit. Selanjutnya dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan 8 model alternative yang ditujukan untuk mendapatkan model pendidikanTaruna Akademi Kepolisaian sebagai pembangunn karakter polisi sipil. Dari model tsb ditemukan model ke delapan sebagai model yang paling fit. Berdasarkan model alternative kedelapan karekter polisi sipil dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh dua konstruk  yaitu konstruk kepemimpinan dan pelatihan. Sedangkan Konstruk pelatihan dipengeruhi secara langsung oleh konstruk pendidikan dan pengasuhan. Akhirnya Ketua Penguji sekaligus  Rektor Unnes Prof.Dr. Sudijono Sastroadmodjo menyampaikan selamat kepada Subagyo kelahiran Boyolali 8 Agustus 1951  dinyatakan lulus dengan predikat kelulusan Sangat memuaskan, sebagai doktor ke 110 lulusan Program Pascasarjana Unnes dan Doktor ke 82 lulusan Prodi manajemen Kependidikan PPs Unnes dengan IPK 3,88.This study aimed to analyze the influence of education, training, care, and leadership to the civilian character of the police. Thus, it was presented in front of examiners by Subagyo in his Promotion of Doctoral Education Exam who was examined by:

  1. Promoter: Prof. Dr. Maman Rachman, M.Sc.,
  2. Vice Promoter: Prof. Yusriadi, SH, M.S.
  3. Members: Dr. Etty Soesilowati.

Furthermore, it was given the objectives of research aimed at finding a model of education that fit cadet in the Police Academy as character builder in civilian police. The study “Education Model Police Academy cadets as Civilian Police Character Builders” performed by a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) alternative to the Partial Least Square (PLS). The population in this study are all police academy cadet force 44, as many as 326 cadets. Study sample as many as 180 cadets drawn from a population with a random sampling technique. In front of examiners, Subagyo,  the dean of Faculty of Social Sciences in Unnes, said that the results showed that there was an effect level constructs for 55.5%, 27.9% Construct training, caregiver Construct 4%, and 16.6% of the leadership construct civilian character. Based on the analysis. The theoretical model that was tested was not yet fit.

Furthermore, in this study, he developed alternative models aimed at 8 to get the model Police Academy Character Builder as civilian police character. From the model it will be found all eight models as the model that best fit. Based on the eight alternative models civilian police characters are directly affected by the two constructs. Those are constructs of leadership and training. While training Construct dipengeruhi directly by the constructs of education and parenting. Finally the Chief Examiner at once Rector of  Unnes , Prof.Dr. Sudijono Sastroadmodjo,  congratulated Subagyo who was born in Boyolali August 8, 1951 who passed his test by a very satisfying predicate of graduation, as 110th graduates of doctoral and PhD Postgraduate Program of Unnes and  82th graduates from Personnel Management of PPs Unnes, he left his study program with a GPA of 3.88.
