This study aimed to analyze the influence of education, training, care, and leadership to the civilian character of the police. Thus, it was presented in front of examiners by Subagyo in his Promotion of Doctoral Education Exam who was examined by:
- Promoter: Prof. Dr. Maman Rachman, M.Sc.,
- Vice Promoter: Prof. Yusriadi, SH, M.S.
- Members: Dr. Etty Soesilowati.
Furthermore, it was given the objectives of research aimed at finding a model of education that fit cadet in the Police Academy as character builder in civilian police. The study “Education Model Police Academy cadets as Civilian Police Character Builders” performed by a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) alternative to the Partial Least Square (PLS). The population in this study are all police academy cadet force 44, as many as 326 cadets. Study sample as many as 180 cadets drawn from a population with a random sampling technique. In front of examiners, Subagyo, the dean of Faculty of Social Sciences in Unnes, said that the results showed that there was an effect level constructs for 55.5%, 27.9% Construct training, caregiver Construct 4%, and 16.6% of the leadership construct civilian character. Based on the analysis. The theoretical model that was tested was not yet fit.
Furthermore, in this study, he developed alternative models aimed at 8 to get the model Police Academy Character Builder as civilian police character. From the model it will be found all eight models as the model that best fit. Based on the eight alternative models civilian police characters are directly affected by the two constructs. Those are constructs of leadership and training. While training Construct dipengeruhi directly by the constructs of education and parenting. Finally the Chief Examiner at once Rector of Unnes , Prof.Dr. Sudijono Sastroadmodjo, congratulated Subagyo who was born in Boyolali August 8, 1951 who passed his test by a very satisfying predicate of graduation, as 110th graduates of doctoral and PhD Postgraduate Program of Unnes and 82th graduates from Personnel Management of PPs Unnes, he left his study program with a GPA of 3.88.
