The English Literature Undergraduate Program at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held the Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 at the B3 Building Park on Wednesday, May 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was part of the Entrepreneurship course project, featuring a variety of food and beverage booths managed by students. The festival attracted enthusiastic visitors, including lecturers and students from both within and outside the study program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course lecturers, Dr. Rini Susanti Wulandari, M.Hum., Prayudias Margwati, S.Pd., M.Hum., and Thohiriah, S.S., M.Hum., stated that the festival represented a practical implementation of the entrepreneurial values taught in the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As business mentors, the lecturers emphasized the importance of hands-on experience in preparing students to apply their entrepreneurial knowledge after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her opening remarks, the Head of the Study Program, Dr. Rahayu Puji Haryanti, M.Hum., highlighted that the event carried both national and international significance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also explained that the festival reflected the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth, as well as Goal 9 on industry, innovation, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStudents are learning how to start a business with passion, not only by selling products but also by creating innovations and exploring their creativity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The festival was supported by sponsors who provided shopping vouchers for lecturers and staff members of the study program. Other lecturers also contributed by assigning students to create products as part of their course activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event continued until midday and concluded with the selection of the best booth by the course lecturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this festival, the program hopes to inspire students to strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset and encourage greater innovation in the creative industry in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
