These efforts go beyond environmental preservation, encompassing the strengthening of values, culture, and integrated sustainability systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/dari-kampus-ke-hutan-bimtek-konservasi-unnes-bentuk-mahasiswa-peduli-alam\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/dari-kampus-ke-hutan-bimtek-konservasi-unnes-bentuk-mahasiswa-peduli-alam\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Building Environmental Awareness among Students<\/mark><\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the concrete initiatives is the Basic-Level Conservation Cadre Training (Bimtek) held on July 18\u201319, 2025. The program involved <strong>24 students<\/strong> from various faculties and student organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"704\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-88.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6538\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3352292484228305;width:338px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-88.png 940w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-88-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-88-768x575.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This training aims to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious individuals who actively participate in conservation efforts. Students are encouraged to become agents of change, applying conservation values in their daily lives. Collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) of Central Java also enriched the program with practical, field-based learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this initiative, UNNES not only provides theoretical understanding but also hands-on experience that fosters ecological awareness from an early stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/subdirektorat-konservasi-unnes-ajak-dosen-muda-perkuat-visi-universitas-berwawasan-konservasi\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/subdirektorat-konservasi-unnes-ajak-dosen-muda-perkuat-visi-universitas-berwawasan-konservasi\/\">The Strategic Role of Young Lecturers<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"903\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2026\/04\/image-1.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6535\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3279401230145986;width:392px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to students, young lecturers play a vital role in strengthening the university\u2019s conservation vision. In a program held on June 25, 2025, the Subdirectorate of Conservation invited young lecturers to deepen their understanding of conservation values and integrate them into the Tri Dharma of Higher Education\u2014education, research, and community service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lecturers are encouraged to embed sustainability principles into their academic activities, positioning themselves as key drivers of innovation and role models for students. Their active participation also contributes to enhancing UNNES\u2019 performance in global rankings such as UI GreenMetric and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Strengthening Systems and Data for Sustainability<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"903\" height=\"490\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2026\/04\/image.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6534\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.8428919132014672;width:445px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>UNNES also reinforces its conservation efforts through data-driven systems, particularly through the socialization of the H-Bat System. This platform is designed to collect sustainability-related data, including energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, air quality, and environmental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The collected data serve as crucial evidence for UI GreenMetric and SDGs assessments, while also functioning as an internal evaluation tool for the university. Through this initiative, faculties and administrative units are encouraged to input accurate and consistent data, reflecting a collective commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><strong>A Holistic Approach to a Sustainable Campus<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>These three initiatives\u2014student development, lecturer engagement, and system strengthening\u2014demonstrate UNNES\u2019 holistic approach to implementing its conservation vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This approach aligns with UNNES\u2019 commitment not only to academic excellence but also to becoming a leading institution in sustainable development.
