As part of its broader commitment to research development and innovation, the university has established research spaces and supporting units that enable researchers, lecturers, and students from different academic backgrounds to work together on shared scientific and societal challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the facilities supporting this effort is the <strong>AI, Robotics, and IoT Laboratory<\/strong>. This laboratory provides a physical environment for interdisciplinary research activities involving areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, embedded systems, automation, digital sensing, and applied technological solutions. The laboratory supports collaborative activities involving multiple academic perspectives, especially in the development of applied learning technologies, scientific experimentation, and problem-solving projects that require expertise from more than one discipline. The centre provides a space where researchers and academic units can work together on issues that require integration across environmental, social, educational, and applied scientific fields. By providing laboratories and research centres that bring together expertise from multiple fields, UNNES creates an enabling environment for interdisciplinary teams to conduct research, develop innovations, and generate solutions with academic and practical relevance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interdisciplinary research environment at UNNES is further strengthened through the leadership of the <strong>Head of the Collaborative Smart Classroom and Digital Learning Innovation Laboratory<\/strong>, which plays an important role in connecting technological infrastructure with research and innovation in digital pedagogy. This laboratory supports interdisciplinary collaboration involving education, computer science, engineering, instructional design, and digital media development. Through this facility, researchers and academic teams are able to design, test, and evaluate smart learning systems, interactive teaching technologies, and digital learning innovations that respond to contemporary educational needs while integrating scientific and technological expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To strengthen the documentation of these facilities, UNNES may provide supporting evidence such as official institutional webpages, laboratory profiles, photographs of the facilities, equipment lists, examples of interdisciplinary research activities conducted in these spaces, and organisational records showing that the facilities are formally established and actively used for research purposes.
