It also seeks to strengthen UNNES\u2019s institutional capacity as an inclusive and gender-responsive university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the policy, all faculties and administrative units must uphold gender equality in several key areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Student Admission and Access:<\/strong> Admission committees are required to ensure non-discriminatory selection systems and maintain equitable representation of women in student enrollment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic and Leadership Participation:<\/strong> Faculties and university units must encourage women\u2019s involvement in academic governance, decision-making bodies, and strategic committees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research and Community Engagement:<\/strong> Female lecturers and students are supported through funding, mentoring, and research networking opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Campus Environment and Social Protection:<\/strong> UNNES provides gender-sensitive facilities such as <strong>lactation rooms<\/strong>, fair maternity and menstrual leave policies, and access to the <strong>Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Unit (ULDKS)<\/strong> for protection and counseling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Implementation of the policy is coordinated by the <strong>Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs<\/strong>, while each faculty is required to develop an <strong>annual action plan<\/strong> targeting the enhancement of women\u2019s participation and leadership. The <strong>Quality Assurance Unit<\/strong> monitors progress and reports through the <strong>UNNES SDGs Monitoring System<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this policy, UNNES reaffirms its role as a <strong>Conservation University<\/strong> committed to equity and inclusivity.
