This plan integrates regulatory frameworks, wastewater treatment systems, and laboratory operational standards to ensure that campus scientific activities do not harm surrounding water environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/Environmental-Research.-CAP-PR-UNNES-NOMOR-127-TH-2024-GREEN-CAMPUS-2.pdf\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 127 of 2024<\/mark><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cornerstone of this initiative is&nbsp;<strong>Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 127 of 2024 on Green Campus Environmental Research<\/strong>, which mandates strict safeguards for laboratory operations. The regulation requires all faculties to adopt wastewater treatment mechanisms that prevent hazardous substances\u2014including chemical residues, biological agents, and physical contaminants\u2014from entering natural water systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wastewater Treatment Systems in Laboratories<\/strong><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.unnes.ac.id\/labmipa\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sites.unnes.ac.id\/labmipa\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Laboratories across the\u00a0Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA)<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Faculty of Engineering<\/strong>\u00a0are equipped with advanced wastewater treatment facilities. These systems neutralize or filter pollutants before discharge, ensuring compliance with national water quality standards and protecting aquatic ecosystems from degradation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To reinforce these safeguards, UNNES has published&nbsp;<strong>Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)<\/strong>&nbsp;for laboratory operations, accessible via the&nbsp;UNNES SOP Portal.
