This initiative reflects UNNES\u2019s strong commitment to environmental conservation and aligns with its identity as a leader in sustainability-focused higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the core of this action plan is<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/8816a481b60301ded349b85d81682e0e-65d85842c35bf-1-67f622bc7eedc-2.pdf\">&nbsp;Rector\u2019s Regulation No. 21 of 2019<\/a><\/strong><\/mark>, which prohibits the use of single-use plastics across campus. Each year, UNNES celebrates&nbsp;<strong>Plastic Day<\/strong>, a campus-wide event featuring&nbsp;<strong>clean-up campaigns, recycling drives, and educational workshops<\/strong>&nbsp;that engage students, faculty, and local communities in collective action against plastic pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These combined efforts demonstrate UNNES\u2019s proactive role in embedding sustainability into daily campus life.
