Institute of Educational and Professional Development, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) established a new unit for people with disabilities called the disability service unit. This unit is integrated into the units of language service centre, education training, career, guidance counselling, and disability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unit was established as part of UNNES’ commitment and desire as a disability-friendly campus. UNNES continues to improve services for people with disabilities through the development of disability-friendly facilities in all faculties. To strengthen this unit, UNNES also empowers disability service unit volunteers who will assist disabled students in their activities at UNNES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the funding for disability support unit program for this year is about Rp 53.590.000,00. the funding for launching and promotion is about Rp 28.590.000,00, while disability service unit volunteers engagement program is about Rp 25.000.000,00. It is quite possible that the funding would be increasing since the program would be applied in all faculties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
