A total of 80 schools participated online (from Central Java, East Java, West Java, and East Kalimantan). The workshop provided strategies for efficient water use, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable infrastructure, equipping schools with practical tools to integrate conservation into daily operations.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kompasiana.com\/ismailafa12\/68c36e74ed6415725b116dc6\/kkn-unnes-giat-12-sosialisasi-dan-fdg-desa-tangung-bencana-hadirkan-solusi-nyata-kekeringan\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.kompasiana.com\/ismailafa12\/68c36e74ed6415725b116dc6\/kkn-unnes-giat-12-sosialisasi-dan-fdg-desa-tangung-bencana-hadirkan-solusi-nyata-kekeringan\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">GIAT Community Service: Designing Water Systems for Villages <\/mark><\/strong><\/a><br>Through the&nbsp;<strong>GIAT community service program<\/strong>, UNNES students and faculty collaborated with village officials to design innovative water systems that address drought and water scarcity. This initiative highlights UNNES\u2019s role in providing real solutions to pressing local challenges while fostering participatory learning.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"704\" src=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-34.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5025\" style=\"width:471px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-34.png 940w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-34-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/sdgs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/34\/2025\/11\/image-34-768x575.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/solusi-hemat-air-fisip-unnes-kenalkan-rain-water-harvesting\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/unnes.ac.id\/konservasi\/id\/solusi-hemat-air-fisip-unnes-kenalkan-rain-water-harvesting\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Rainwater Harvesting Podcast for Schools<\/mark><\/a><\/strong><br>UNNES\u2019s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) introduced&nbsp;<strong>Rain Water Harvesting (RWH)<\/strong>&nbsp;through an innovative podcast program at SMPN 24 Semarang. The initiative educates students on simple, scalable methods to collect and reuse rainwater, reducing dependence on groundwater while promoting sustainable school practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eco-Edutourism and Workshops on Retention Basins<\/strong><br>To bring conservation closer to the community, UNNES developed&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rri.co.id\/iptek\/825349\/unnes-siap-sulap-embung-patemon-jadi-wisata-tematik\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/rri.co.id\/iptek\/825349\/unnes-siap-sulap-embung-patemon-jadi-wisata-tematik\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">eco-edutourism programs<\/mark><\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;around campus about water retention basins (<em>embung<\/em>). These sites serve as living laboratories where schools and local communities learn about water storage, irrigation, flood prevention, and biodiversity conservation.
