Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) reaffirms its strong commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful academic environment through the implementation of the Anti-Harassment Policy as outlined in Rector\u2019s Regulation Number 115 of 2024<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/a> The regulation establishes a comprehensive framework for preventing and addressing harassment and violence throughout the entire university community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This policy applies to students, educators, and administrative staff, setting clear guidelines for preventing misconduct, handling complaints, and enforcing disciplinary measures. It aims to promote a zero-tolerance culture toward harassment and violence, ensuring that UNNES remains a campus where every individual feels protected and respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure effective implementation, UNNES has formally established the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS) through the Rector\u2019s Decree Number T\/47\/HK\/02\/2025.<\/mark><\/strong><\/a> The task force operates as the university\u2019s official unit responsible for receiving reports, conducting assessments, and providing follow-up actions in cases related to harassment or sexual violence within the university environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PPKS Task Force consists of trained members from various university units, including lecturers, administrative staff, psychologists, and student representatives. It serves both preventive and responsive functions, conducting educational campaigns, workshops, and awareness sessions while also managing confidential reporting mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of its educational outreach, UNNES has elaborated a Comprehensive Handling and Prevention for Sexual Violence guidance<\/mark><\/strong>,<\/a> a concise guide designed to educate the campus community about the prevention and management of sexual violence. The guidance provides clear explanations of the types of harassment and violence, reporting procedures, support services, and contact information for the PPKS Task Force. The resource serves as both a preventive tool and an empowerment guide, helping students and staff understand their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of collective vigilance in maintaining a safe academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNNES integrates its anti-harassment initiatives within the broader framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goals 5 (Gender Equality) and 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
