As part of its role as a <em>Conservation University<\/em> and supporter of <strong>Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy)<\/strong>, UNNES actively engages small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Semarang to develop practical, technology-based solutions that enhance production efficiency and reduce environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key projects is titled <strong>\u201cPenerapan Teknologi dB and Emission Reducer Berbahan Karbon Aktif pada IKM Komponen Otomotif untuk Mendukung Peningkatan TKDN Industri Otomotif\u201d<\/strong>. This research focuses on the application of <strong>active-carbon-based dB and emission reducer technology<\/strong> to help local automotive component industries minimize exhaust emissions and optimize combustion efficiency. Conducted jointly with local UMKM partners, this project enables the efficient conversion of agricultural waste into high-quality biomass briquettes that can replace fossil fuels in household and small industry applications.
